At a glance
Worlds of Pixar is the land devoted to Pixar’s movie worlds at Disney Adventure World (formerly Walt Disney Studios Park) at Disneyland Paris, to the right of World Premiere Plaza.
The land is split into several distinct themed areas based on Pixar films. La Place de Rémy recreates a Paris neighborhood inspired by Ratatouille, with nods to the French capital. Toy Story Playland reproduces Andy’s backyard at giant scale, filled with oversized toys. A Route 66 section brings in the desert landscapes and the town of Radiator Springs from Cars. Finally, an underwater area calls up the world of Finding Nemo. The whole land is designed as a family-friendly, photogenic experience, colorful and full of details from the films. Three photo spots were also added when the area was repositioned.
There are seven main rides. Ratatouille : L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy is a 4D ride where guests shrink to the size of a rat and scurry through the kitchens of Gusteau’s restaurant. Crush’s Coaster is a spinning roller coaster ride alongside Crush the turtle. Cars Quatre Roues Rallye is a spinning ride set in Radiator Springs, and Cars ROAD TRIP is a bus tour through Route 66 scenery. In Toy Story Playland, three more rides round things out: RC Racer (big thrills in a remote-control car launched along a U-shaped track), Slinky Dog Zigzag Spin (a family ride with Slinky the dog), and Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop (a drop tower that simulates a training exercise for the green army men).
Food centers on several Pixar spots: Bistrot Chez Rémy (which drops guests, at rat size, into an oversized setting), La Place de Rémy - Le Buffet (a Paris-style buffet restaurant in the same world), and the Laugh’N’ Go! food truck near Cars ROAD TRIP, serving Toy Story-themed sandwiches and snacks. Four food spots also sell exclusive treats (Toy Story and Luca shortbread cookies, Worlds of Pixar donuts and cupcakes, and a chocolate hazelnut éclair at Bistrot Chez Rémy).
The main stores are Chez Marianne - Souvenirs de Paris, in the Paris setting of Ratatouille, and Barrel of Monkeys in Toy Story Playland, plus themed kiosks (plush toys, accessories, and Pixar collectibles). You may also run into some Pixar characters in the area, including Lightning McQueen and the Incredibles.
Here, the whole land plays out as a trip across Pixar’s many worlds. Turn a corner and the scale and scenery shift: in Toy Story Playland you shrink down to toy size, in Cars you cruise through Radiator Springs alongside its cars, in Ratatouille Remy takes you backstage at Gusteau’s restaurant, and on Crush’s Coaster you plunge into the world of Finding Nemo.
The common thread is a change of scale and identity: one after another, you take on the size and point of view of Pixar heroes (toy, car, rat, turtle), an immersive approach that echoes the core storytelling of the animated films.
A land devoted entirely to the world of Pixar. Crush’s Coaster, Ratatouille, Cars Quatre Roues Rallye, and Cars ROAD TRIP sit next to the Toy Story Playland area (RC Racer, Slinky Dog Zigzag Spin, Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop). No other place in the world packs in so many of Pixar’s biggest worlds.

History
The land was called Toon Studio when Walt Disney Studios opened on March 16, 2002. Crush’s Coaster and Cars Quatre Roues Rallye were added on June 9, 2007, Toy Story Playland opened as its own area on August 17, 2010, and Ratatouille : L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy debuted on July 10, 2014.
Cars ROAD TRIP replaced the Studio Tram Tour on June 17, 2021, and Toon Studio was renamed Worlds of Pixar on August 27, 2021. It was the first of the four finished areas in the park’s transformation, ahead of Marvel Avengers Campus (July 20, 2022), then World of Frozen and Adventure Way (2026). When the name changed, three spots stayed attached to the old Toon Studio for a while: Les Tapis Volants - Flying Carpets Over Agrabah, the Animagique Theater, and Animation Celebration.
Where the inspiration comes from
The land draws on Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure (2018) for its overall Pixar spirit, and on Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Shanghai Disneyland (2018) for its Toy Story Playland area.

My verdict
Worlds of Pixar is a land I adore, and quite possibly my favorite at Disney Adventure World. There’s a simple reason: my all-time favorite Pixar film, Toy Story, lives here, so of course it wins me over.
Its rides never get old for me: Ratatouille, Crush’s Coaster, and especially Cars Quatre Roues Rallye. In my opinion it’s seriously underrated, and frankly a lot more fun than the Mad Hatter’s Tea Cups over at Disneyland Park.
I could go from ride to ride here all day without noticing the hours slip by.

Your questions about this land
01 What are the lands at Disney Adventure World (formerly Walt Disney Studios Park) after the transformation?
Disney Adventure World, which replaces the former Walt Disney Studios Park, is now divided into 6 lands. World Premiere Plaza (2 rides) has Tower of Terror, Les Tapis Volants, and the World Premiere hub. Avengers Campus (2 rides) brings together Avengers Assemble: Flight Force and Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure. Worlds of Pixar (7 rides) is home to Crush’s Coaster, Ratatouille, RC Racer, Cars Quatre Roues Rallye, Cars ROAD TRIP, Slinky Dog Zigzag Spin, and Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop. World of Frozen (just one ride for now), which opened on March 29, 2026, features Frozen Ever After. Adventure Way (1 ride) is where you’ll find Raiponce Tangled Spin.
02 Which rides shouldn’t you miss at Disney Adventure World?
At Disney Adventure World, I have my personal favorites. At 63 meters, Tower of Terror is the tallest ride in all of Disneyland Paris and delivers big thrills. Avengers Assemble: Flight Force is still the fastest ride in the resort. Crush’s Coaster is a cult classic, but it has the longest lines. Ratatouille is an immersive ride you shouldn’t skip. Frozen Ever After, in the new World of Frozen land that opened on March 29, 2026, is the big new addition you have to try. Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure rounds out the list of top picks at Avengers Campus.
03 How can you avoid long lines for the most popular rides?
To skip long lines at Disneyland Paris, I mix several strategies. First, Single Rider is free and really speeds things up on the rides that offer it, including Crush’s Coaster, Flight Force, Ratatouille, and Spider-Man, as long as you don’t mind boarding apart from your group. Next, Disney Premier Access is a paid service that guarantees you priority entry on the headline rides. If you’re staying at a Disney hotel, Extra Magic Time lets you into the park before official opening, and that’s the best time to ride the popular attractions back to back without waiting. Last, heading to the busiest rides during a parade or a big show empties the lines dramatically.
