At a glance

Staycity Aparthotels near Disneyland Paris is a 4-star aparthotel that has been an official partner hotel of the Disney resort since 2024. The property has 284 units, split between studios, apartments, and villas, and sleeps anywhere from 3 to 16 people depending on the type you choose.

It’s a recently built complex with contemporary architecture, laid out around a lake and surrounded by landscaped gardens. Studios measure 26 m², the duplex or single-level apartments run 31 to 38 m², and the standalone villas go up to 178 m². The interiors are clean and modern, designed to be practical rather than themed.

What really sets Staycity apart from other hotels in the area is the serviced-apartment format. Every unit has a fully equipped kitchen, which works especially well for large families, groups of friends, and longer stays. The villas, which sleep up to 16 people across 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, are hard to find anywhere else around Disneyland Paris. A free private shuttle takes you to the parks.

For meals, Staycity Aparthotels has a restaurant serving a breakfast buffet in the morning and simple dishes at night (cold cuts, salads, burgers, pasta), plus the Staycafé bar with snacks, alcoholic drinks, and Starbucks beverages. The equipped kitchen in the family units also lets you cook for yourself. Guests get partner perks as well (discounts at La Vallée Village, SEA LIFE, and Center Parcs Village Nature, plus free club rental at Golf Paris Val d’Europe).

What sets it apart

My verdict

Julie
Julie 200+ visits since 2023

Staycity sets itself up as a modern, highly practical option for groups and large families who would rather have plenty of space than be right next to the parks. Its contemporary apartments and big standalone villas fill a real gap in the local hotel lineup.

I haven’t stayed there or tried it myself. My take is based only on the hotel’s website, feedback from people I know, and online reviews. It became an official partner hotel in 2024, and the complex offers handy equipped kitchens and a heated outdoor pool in season. Guests praise how spotless and quiet the property is, though the clean, minimalist look feels very residential and has no theming at all for kids.

I highly recommend it for long stays with a big group, or for families of more than 5 people who want to cook their own meals. Skip it if you don’t have a car and hate relying on shuttle schedules to get back in the afternoon.

Extra services

On top of that, Staycity Aparthotels near Disneyland Paris has a few added services that make your time there easier.

Guests get deals arranged with local attractions: 10% off purchases at La Vallée Village, 10% off day passes to Center Parcs Village Nature, 10% off admission to SEA LIFE, and free club rental at Golf Paris Val d’Europe. Full housekeeping is available as an option, along with baby gear (travel cribs and high chairs free on request).

Ask the front desk team on site for any of these services. Availability and prices can change, so it’s best to check when you arrive or when you book.

Map & getting there

The property is in Bailly-Romainvilliers, about 5 km from the Disneyland Paris parks, or 10 minutes by car. A free private shuttle runs to the parks every day, and the stop for public bus line 34 (€2.50 per person) is right outside. The Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy station, served by the TGV (high-speed train) and the RER (Paris commuter train), is also 10 minutes away by car.

Your questions about this hotel

01 Which Disney hotel should you pick with kids?

For a trip with kids, I recommend Hotel Cheyenne: a very immersive Wild West atmosphere (saloon, Western streets, ponies) at an affordable price, and little ones love it. The Newport Bay Club is also an excellent choice thanks to its big pool with areas for children. Sequoia Lodge appeals to families who like Disney’s forest-style setting. Skip Davy Crockett Ranch if you don’t have a car, since getting to the parks from there is more of a hassle.

02 Official Disney hotel vs. partner hotel: what’s the difference?

An official Disney hotel is run by Disneyland Paris and comes with exclusive perks: Extra Magic Time in the morning before official opening, free delivery of your store purchases to the hotel, and a fully themed atmosphere. A partner hotel (Explorers, Adagio, B&B, and others) is a privately run hotel near the resort, usually cheaper, but without Extra Magic Time or the Disney theming. For me, staying at a Disney hotel really changes how immersed you feel, but if money is tight, partner hotels are still a decent option.

03 Disney hotel or partner hotel: which one should you pick?

It all depends on your budget and your game plan. Disney hotel: you get Extra Magic Time (entry to the parks up to 1 hour before official opening, on a selection of headline rides), delivery of your purchases to the hotel, the official shuttle service, and a themed atmosphere. Partner hotel (Explorers, Adagio, B&B, and others): prices are often lower, a free shuttle is usually offered but it isn’t an official Disney one, and breakfast isn’t always included in the rate (check when you book). For a first trip, I’d lean toward a Disney hotel. To make the most of your budget, go with a partner hotel.

04 Are there shuttles between the Disney hotels and the parks?

Yes, free shuttles serve most of the official Disney hotels. Some hotels are also within walking distance (Disneyland Hotel, Hotel New York, Newport Bay Club, Sequoia Lodge). The Davy Crockett Ranch has no shuttle, so you really need a car there (its guests get free parking at the parks). You’ll find the schedule at the hotel front desk or in the Disneyland Paris app.

05 Is a car necessary to get to Disneyland Paris?

No. The park is very easy to reach: the RER A (Paris commuter train) stops at the entrance, trains run from the airports, and the Disney hotels offer free shuttles. A car is mostly useful for exploring the area or if you’re staying farther away.
