Staycity Aparthotels near Disneyland Paris is a 4-star aparthotel that became an official partner hotel of the Disney resort in 2024. It has 284 units, split between studios, apartments and villas, sleeping from 3 to 16 people depending on the type of accommodation.
It’s a recent residence with contemporary architecture, set around a lake and surrounded by landscaped gardens. What really sets Staycity apart from other places nearby is its aparthotel format: every unit has a fully equipped kitchen, which particularly suits large families, groups of friends and long stays. The villas, which sleep up to 16 people in 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, are rare among the accommodation around Disneyland Paris. A free private shuttle bus runs to the parks.
For dining, Staycity Aparthotels has a restaurant serving a buffet breakfast in the morning and simple dishes in the evening (charcuterie, salads, burgers, pasta), plus the Staycafé bar-café offering snacks, alcoholic drinks and Starbucks drinks. The kitchen in the family units also lets you cook your own meals. Guests also get partner benefits (discounts at La Vallée Village, SEA LIFE, Center Parcs Village Nature, free club hire at Golf Paris Val d’Europe).
Apartments with kitchens. The studios and villas have their own living spaces with fully equipped kitchens, perfect for long family stays. A large heated outdoor pool with a landscaped beach area is open to guests during the summer season. The dedicated free shuttle bus runs directly to the Marne-la-Vallée bus station.

Who it’s for
Pros and cons
Strong points
- Free shuttle bus to the Disney parks
- Villas sleeping up to 16 people
- Heated outdoor pool
Weak points
- Hotel 5 km (3 miles) from the parks, so you need the shuttle or a car
- Prices sometimes higher than some better-located official Disney hotels
My verdict
The Staycity presents itself as a modern, highly practical option for groups and large families who won’t give up space just to be right next to the parks. Its contemporary apartments and large self-contained villas fill a real gap in the local hotel offer.
I haven’t stayed here or tried it myself. My opinion is based only on the hotel’s website, feedback from people I know and online reviews. An official partner hotel since 2024, the complex has very handy fitted kitchens and a heated outdoor pool in season. Guests highlight the spotless cleanliness and the peace and quiet, even if the clean-lined style feels very residential, with no theming at all for children.
I highly recommend it for long stays in big groups or for families of more than 5 people who want to cook for themselves. Avoid it if you don’t have a car and hate depending on shuttle times to get back in the afternoon.

Your questions about this hotel
01 Which Disney hotel should you choose with kids?
For a stay with kids, I recommend the Hotel Cheyenne: a very immersive Wild West atmosphere (saloon, Western streets, ponies) at an affordable price, and little ones love it. The Newport Bay Club is also an excellent choice thanks to its large pool with children’s areas. The Sequoia Lodge appeals to families who like a Disney-style forest atmosphere. Avoid the Davy Crockett Ranch if you don’t have a car, as getting to the parks from there is more of a hassle.
02 What’s the difference between an official Disney hotel and a partner hotel?
An official Disney hotel is run by Disneyland Paris and gives you exclusive perks: Extra Magic Time in the morning before the parks officially open, free delivery of your shop purchases to the hotel and a fully themed setting. A partner hotel (such as Explorers, Adagio or B&B) is a privately run hotel near the resort, usually cheaper, but without Extra Magic Time or Disney theming. For me, staying in a Disney hotel really makes a difference to the immersion, but if your budget is tight, the partner hotels are a decent option.
03 Is it better to stay in a Disney hotel or a partner hotel?
It all depends on your budget and your strategy. Disney hotel: you get Extra Magic Time (access to the parks up to 1 hour before official opening on some headline rides), delivery of your shopping to the hotel, the official shuttle bus and a themed atmosphere. Partner hotel (Explorers, Adagio or B&B, among others): prices are often lower, a free shuttle is usually provided but it isn’t an official Disney one, and breakfast isn’t always included in the price (check when you book). For a first stay, I’d tend to recommend a Disney hotel. To keep the budget down, a partner hotel.
04 Are there shuttle buses between the Disney hotels and the parks?
Yes, free shuttle buses serve most of the official Disney hotels. Some hotels are also within walking distance (Disneyland Hotel, Hotel New York, Newport Bay Club, Sequoia Lodge). The Davy Crockett Ranch has no shuttle: you really need a car (parking at the parks is free for its guests). The timetables are available at hotel reception or in the Disneyland Paris app.
05 Do you need a car to get to Disneyland Paris?
No. The park has excellent transport links: the RER A (Paris suburban train) stops at the entrance, trains run from the airports and the Disney hotels offer free shuttle buses. A car is mainly useful for exploring the region or if you’re staying further away.
