If you want to meet a princess at Disneyland Paris, the Princess Pavilion in Fantasyland (Disneyland Park) is your main route. That said, you can cross paths with one in several ways, and some are much better than others.
Some give you a real meet and greet (chatting, taking a photo, leaving with an autograph and a hug), while others only let you watch them go by. Here’s how to go about it, from the fullest option to the simplest, so you don’t walk away disappointed.
The Princess Pavilion
The Princess Pavilion, in Fantasyland (Disneyland Park), is the main way to meet a princess. It’s a real meet and greet: you step into a small parlor and have time to say a few words, take a photo, ask for an autograph, and get a hug. The meet and greet itself is free, included with your ticket.
Several princesses rotate through the Pavilion, depending on the day. Key point: you don’t get to choose the princess, it’s a surprise. You only find out who’s waiting for you once you’re inside.
In practice, you open the app, grab a time slot as soon as you can, then come back at the time shown. Slots go fast: booking usually opens in two waves, one in the morning when the park opens and one in the early afternoon. For the full details on how it works, see the guide to the virtual queue for meet and greets.
Which princesses can you meet?
Depending on the day’s lineup, the Princess Pavilion welcomes the classic princesses: Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Belle, Ariel, or Rapunzel come back often, but none is a sure thing (it’s a surprise). You won’t find Elsa and Anna at the Pavilion. The only way to meet them is A Royal Encounter with Elsa and Anna, in Disney Adventure World.
Finally, Moana isn’t met in a parlor but through a PhotoPass picture (the park’s official photo service). For details on which princesses appear, see the guide to the Disney princesses at Disneyland Paris.
Meet and greets with a single princess
Besides the Pavilion, some princesses occasionally get a meeting spot of their own, depending on the current lineup. Belle and Aurora are examples, at Disneyland Park. These meet and greets aren’t permanent: they depend on the time of year and the events going on. Remember to check the day’s schedule in the app when you arrive.
A Royal Encounter with Elsa and Anna stands as a full meet and greet of its own. It’s located in Disney Adventure World, the second park, inside the World of Frozen area, at Arendelle Castle. Access again goes through the free virtual queue, and the visit is brief (a few minutes). Nowhere else at Disneyland Paris can you meet the two sisters side by side.
Seeing the princesses in the parade
During the afternoon parade at Disneyland Park, one float is all about the princesses. You watch them ride past along the route, between Fantasyland and Main Street U.S.A. The upside is real: it’s free, there’s nothing to book, you see several of them at once, and the time is set (you know ahead of time when to grab your spot).
A dedicated Princess Cavalcade also rolls through Disney Adventure World several times a day, which gives you even more chances to see them go by.
Keep in mind, though, that this isn’t a real meet and greet. You can’t get a close-up photo, ask for an autograph, or get a hug. You see them wave from the float, and that’s it. It’s a good choice if your kids just want to catch a glimpse of their princesses without the hassle of booking.
As of July 1, 2026, there’s also a show where they appear: "La Valse Royale de la Belle au Bois Dormant," at Le Théâtre du Château (Disneyland Park). Aurora and the prince start a waltz, and other princesses join them, multiple times daily (around 20 minutes). Just like the parade, they’re up on stage, so no photos or autographs.
Meeting a princess at a restaurant
A few restaurants at Disneyland Paris offer a meal with the princesses: they go from table to table while you eat, for a photo and a chat. It’s the most comfortable option, since the meeting is guaranteed and you see several of them, with no stress over booking a time slot. The trade-off: the meal isn’t free, and you need to reserve your table ahead of time.
Pay attention to the location: some of these restaurants are inside Disneyland Park, like Auberge de Cendrillon, so you need a park ticket to get in, while others are at the Disney hotels and don’t require a ticket.
Here are the restaurants where you can meet the princesses (the list updates automatically). For details on prices and reservations, see the guide to character dining.

World Princess Week
Sometime in August, Disneyland Paris holds World Princess Week, a stretch when more princesses are around, with extra events and meeting spots. If your trip falls during that time, your odds of seeing them go up noticeably.

Frequently asked questions
01 Disney Princesses: where do you meet them, and is a reservation required?
This dedicated meet and greet is held at the Princess Pavilion in Disneyland Park, and since 2025 it works by reservation only, through the app’s free virtual queue. You can’t pick the princess: it’s a surprise. Elsa and Anna have their own meet and greet, A Royal Encounter with Elsa and Anna, over at Disney Adventure World (World of Frozen). Your ticket covers the meet and greet. You only pay for a meal such as Auberge de Cendrillon.
02 Is it possible to meet the princesses during the parade?
No, not really. During the parade, one float is devoted to the princesses and you watch them go by, but it isn’t a real meet and greet: no close-up photo, no autograph, no hug. It’s handy for catching a glimpse of them without a booking.
03 How does the character virtual queue work?
It all happens in the official app, once your ticket has been scanned at the park entrance (not before, and only for that same day). You book a free time slot. Slots usually open in two waves (in the morning when the park opens and in the early afternoon), sometimes with a third in the late afternoon. Only one booking can be active at a time, with a limit of 6 people per slot and up to 5 character meets per day. Everyone in your group, kids included, has to be counted.
