A Million Splashes of Colour: the limited-time Disney and Pixar parade

This colorful parade of the Symphony of Colours season ran alongside the main Disneyland Paris parade: Disney and Pixar floats, dancers, and a show-stop in front of the castle. Its 2026 season ended on September 6, and here I walk you through what it offered.

What is A Million Splashes of Colour?

A Million Splashes of Colour was a daytime parade of the Disney Symphony of Colours season. It celebrated art, music, and storytelling across the worlds of Disney and Pixar. Around thirty characters and dancers gathered around brightly colored floats (three in 2024, four in 2026). The parade stopped for a show (a show-stop) in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle.

This parade was performed for the first time in 2024. It followed Dreams… And Shine Brighter!, the show from the park’s 30th anniversary season. After a first run in 2024, it returned in 2026.

Parade showtimes

A Million Splashes of Colour ran several times a day, during the daytime only. The usual showtimes were 11:05, 12:20, 14:55, and 16:10, with an extra performance around 19:05 on some days.

It was a seasonal parade: it ran from February 10 to September 30, 2024, then from February 7 to September 6, 2026. To find out whether it’s coming back, check its show page or the official Disneyland Paris app.

The parade characters

The parade brought together lots of Disney and Pixar characters in exclusive, brightly colored costumes. Those costumes played with optical illusions and paint splatters. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy led the way.

Alongside them, among others, were Stitch, Timon, Rapunzel, Belle, Snow White, Mirabel (Encanto), Miguel (Coco), and Joy (Inside Out). Mrs. Incredible and Mr. Incredible, Asha, Judy Hopps, Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Flash, and the Genie joined the celebration too, along with professional dancers. In all, around thirty characters and dancers brought the floats to life.

The show and the route

Everything kicked off at the park entrance, where Main Street U.S.A. begins (marker 1 on the map). From there, the floats rolled up the whole street until they reached Central Plaza, the large open square facing the castle.

There, they circled the square counterclockwise. They paused for a show-stop in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle (marker 2 on the map). The floats came to a halt and the characters stepped onto the stages to dance. When that moment was over, the parade headed back toward the park entrance and wrapped up where it had started.

The soundtrack

In A Million Splashes of Colour, the music was front and center. Two original songs carried the show, one of them being The Future’s Starting Right Now, composed just for this parade. On top of that came a medley of Disney and Pixar favorites, given fresh arrangements for the occasion.
