A Million Splashes of Colour: the seasonal Disney and Pixar parade

The colourful parade of the Symphony of Colours season at Disneyland Paris, on top of the main parade: Disney and Pixar floats, dancers and a show-stop at the foot of the castle. Its 2026 season ended on 6 September, so here’s what it offered.

What is A Million Splashes of Colour?

A Million Splashes of Colour was a daytime parade from the Disney Symphony of Colours season. It celebrated art, music and writing across the Disney and Pixar worlds. It brought together around thirty characters and dancers with very colourful floats (three in 2024, four in 2026). The parade made a show-stop in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle.

This parade was first performed in 2024. It followed Dreams… And Shine Brighter!, the show from the park’s 30th anniversary season. After a first season in 2024, it returned in 2026.

Parade times

A Million Splashes of Colour ran several times a day, during the day only. The usual times were 11:05, 12:20, 14:55 and 16:10, sometimes with an extra performance around 19:05.

It was a seasonal parade: it ran from 10 February to 30 September 2024, then from 7 February to 6 September 2026. To find out whether it’s coming back, check its page or the official Disneyland Paris app.

The parade’s characters

The parade brought together lots of Disney and Pixar characters in exclusive, brightly coloured costumes. These costumes played with optical illusions and paint splashes. Leading the parade were Mickey and Minnie, together with Donald, Daisy and Goofy.

Among others, they were joined by Stitch, Timon, Rapunzel, Belle, Snow White, Mirabel from Encanto, Miguel from Coco and Joy from Inside Out. Mrs. Incredible and Mr. Incredible, Asha, Judy Hopps, Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Flash and the Genie joined in too, along with professional dancers. In all, around thirty characters and dancers brought the floats to life.

How it unfolded and the route

The parade set off from the park entrance, at the bottom of Main Street U.S.A. (marker 1 on the map). The floats travelled up the street to Central Plaza, the big square in front of the castle.

There, they went round the square anticlockwise. They stopped for a show at the foot of Sleeping Beauty Castle (marker 2 on the map). The floats came to a halt and the characters stepped up onto the stages to dance. Once that moment was over, the parade headed back towards the park entrance and ended where it started.

The soundtrack

Music played a central role in A Million Splashes of Colour. The show was built on two original compositions, including The Future’s Starting Right Now, written especially for the occasion. A medley of Disney and Pixar classics, rearranged for the parade, rounded it out.
