Buying Disneyland Paris merchandise online: what you can actually do

Looking to buy Disneyland Paris merchandise online, like a plush, ears, or a park souvenir, without making another trip? Here are your real options, the official site to bookmark, and how to get a park-exclusive item with no bad surprises.

No, you can’t buy everything online. Disneyland Paris has no official online store that sells and ships every one of the park’s exclusive products. For the vast majority of Disney merchandise, the official site is Disney Store (formerly shopDisney). It delivers to your home, offers gift cards, and now and then even sells a few Disneyland Paris exclusives.

For park exclusives you can’t find online, there are two routes: Facebook groups where fans buy and resell items, and personal shoppers. Both call for caution. I walk you through everything below.

Can you buy Disneyland Paris merchandise online?

The answer isn’t a simple yes or no, because it all depends on what kind of item you’re after.

There are two categories to keep apart:

  • Disney or Disneyland Paris branded products sold in lots of places (plush toys, clothing, ears, home decor). Those, yes, you’ll find online on the official Disney Store.
  • Park-exclusive products, meaning the ones sold only in Disneyland Paris shops (a plush from a specific season like Halloween, ears from a park anniversary, a limited collectible, an item tied to a particular land). Most of these exclusives aren’t available online.

Disney Store does offer a rotating selection of Disneyland Paris exclusives, but it’s neither complete nor permanent. A product listed one month can be gone the next. If you spotted a specific item at the park, chances are high it isn’t sold online.

One more thing: the old Disneyland Paris mail-order service (Mail Order) no longer exists. If you come across older articles that mention it, forget that option, it’s been discontinued.

Disney Store, the official website

Disney Store is the official website for buying Disney merchandise online. You might know it by its former name, shopDisney: the online store was renamed Disney Store. Everything sold there is official and shipped straight to your door.

For most wish lists, it’s the easiest and most reliable choice: a gift, a piece of clothing, a plush, a pair of ears. You pay the official price with no markup, and you know exactly where the item comes from. Shipping costs and delivery times depend on your order, so check them on the site itself.

If you’re a student, Disney Store gives a 10% student discount through UNiDAYS or Student Beans, once you verify your student status.

  • Plush and toys
  • Clothing for babies, kids, and adults
  • Disney ears (the famous Ears)
  • Costumes
  • Home, decor, and stationery
  • Books and board games
  • Collectibles: Loungefly bags, Lorcana cards
  • Seasonal items: Halloween, Christmas, Easter
  • Pixar, Star Wars, and Marvel franchises
  • Disney gift cards (the recipient picks what they like)

Is there still a Disney Store in France?

No, France no longer has a single brick-and-mortar Disney Store outside the park. The last one, on the Champs-Élysées in Paris, closed after about thirty years. The brand has refocused its sales on the website and the park shops.

You can still shop in person at Disneyland Paris, though. Good news if you live near Paris: Disney Village gets you into a big Disney shop with no park ticket, so you don’t pay admission.

Keep in mind that what you’ll find there is mostly the general range. Exclusives tied to a land or a season are sold in the shops inside the parks, and getting in requires a ticket. To figure out what to take home, have a look at my guide what souvenirs to bring home.

What about park-exclusive items? Facebook groups

If the item you want is a park exclusive you can’t find on Disney Store, fans have a well-known workaround: Facebook groups where enthusiasts buy and resell merchandise.

Here’s how it works. You join a group focused on Disneyland Paris, and then:

  • You post a request ("looking for this plush from that season") and a member who’s going to the park can buy it for you.
  • You buy from a member who’s reselling something they already own.
  • You go through a personal shopper: someone who visits the park regularly and buys for other people in exchange for a fee. It’s often informal, with no guarantee.

Members then work out the price, payment, and shipping between themselves. It’s handy, but it isn’t an official channel, so you need to take a few precautions, which I cover right below.

Other options

Beyond Disney Store and Facebook groups, you still have a few options.

  • Secondhand resale (Vinted, eBay, Leboncoin). Park merchandise does show up there, but be very careful: you’ll run into lots of counterfeits (fake products) and resellers (scalpers) who jack up prices outrageously on sought-after pieces. Make sure the item isn’t a fake, compare it to the original shop price, ask for photos, favor sellers with good reviews, and stick to the platform’s built-in payment (never a direct bank transfer outside the site): it’s your only protection if something goes wrong.
  • The Shopping Service on-site. If you’re coming to the park, this service saves you from carrying your purchases around all day: you have them sent to your hotel or pick them up on your way out. It isn’t remote online shopping, you need to be there in person. I explain how it works in what souvenirs to bring home.

Frequently asked questions

01 Is there an official Disneyland Paris online store?

No. Disneyland Paris doesn’t run an official website that sells and delivers everything you see in the park. Online, Disney products are officially sold through the Disney Store, which offers some Disneyland Paris exclusives but far from the park’s entire catalog.

02 Is there still a Disney Store in France?

Outside the park, every physical Disney Store has closed. The final one, on the Champs-Élysées in Paris, is gone too. The Disneyland Paris shops are still there for you, and at Disney Village, you can visit a Disney shop with no park ticket.

03 Are souvenirs cheaper online?

You can buy part of the range on the Disney online store, and the price is sometimes attractive. Still, lots of items, Paris exclusives and limited editions above all, never leave the parks. If that’s what you want, you’ll have to buy it there.

04 Do you need a park ticket to visit Disney Village?

No. Disney Village is free and open to everyone, with no park ticket or Disney hotel stay required. You can have dinner, browse the shops (including the huge World of Disney store), grab a Starbucks, or catch a movie. The only formality, if you’re not coming straight from a park, is going through the security check at the entrance to the Village. Merchandise exclusive to a land or a season, on the other hand, is sold in the shops inside the parks, which require a ticket.
