At a glance

TOGETHER: a Pixar Musical Adventure is a stage musical of about 30 minutes performed at the Studio Theater. The story follows Charlie, a music-loving boy who dreams of conducting the orchestra at his school’s end-of-year concert. The night before the concert, a gust of wind scatters his precious sheet music. As he falls asleep, his favourite Pixar toys (Woody, Jessie and Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story) come to life and set off to recover the pages scattered across the Pixar worlds.

The journey takes the audience through five worlds: Toy Story, Coco (with Miguel), Up (Carl Fredricksen and Russell), Monsters, Inc. (Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan in the Monstropolis factory) and Finding Nemo (Marlin, Nemo and Dory). Over 30 performers and Pixar characters share the stage, backed by a live orchestra playing an original score woven together with the iconic music from the films.

The production mixes cutting-edge technology with traditional techniques: puppets, live dancers and singers, life-size moving sets, huge LED screens, contemporary choreography, creative lighting and multisensory effects, with water droplets sprayed into the theatre and scents released throughout the show. In the queue, an activity called "The Pixar Challenge" keeps visitors busy while they wait.

What makes it stand out

A live symphony orchestra, scents and water droplets: the theatre changes with every Pixar world. Toy Story, Coco, Up, Monsters, Inc. and Finding Nemo follow one another on stage with over 30 performers.

History

The Studio Theater is the home of the big indoor shows in the second park: it hosted the film CinéMagique from 2002 to 2017, then the show Marvel: Super Heroes United. After a long temporary closure, TOGETHER: a Pixar Musical Adventure began performances on 15 July 2023, as the grand finale of Disneyland Paris’s 30th anniversary, bringing large-scale musical productions back to this huge theatre. After a break, the show returned on 7 March 2026, just before the park officially became Disney Adventure World on 29 March 2026.

Created by Disney Live Entertainment and directed by Arnaud Feredj (who also directed Disney Notre-Dame de Paris) and Matthieu Robin, the show stands out by pairing a symphony orchestra performing live on stage with retractable LED video walls. Sophisticated video mapping across the stage takes the audience into different animated worlds. The moving orchestra and the physical effects in the auditorium blur the traditional line between the audience and the stage.

My verdict

Julie
Julie ★★★★★ 200+ visits since 2023

It’s a visually polished show, and I find the music played live by the orchestra especially moving. Its multisensory format with an orchestra on stage doesn’t exist in any other Disney park, and it shows the scale the resort’s big productions have reached. The sound and visuals are really immersive.

Bear in mind that you queue standing up beforehand and that seats are hotly contested on busy weekends. There’s even a paid access option to cope with demand. My tip: try to sit as close to the centre of the theatre as possible to get the most out of the scents and the flawless sound of the live musicians (and even a little surprise that falls from the sky).

The show takes place in Disney Adventure World (formerly Walt Disney Studios), at the Studio Theater on World Premiere Plaza (formerly Production Courtyard), close to the interactive show Stitch Live! Your questions about this show

01 What stage shows are on in 2026 at Disneyland Paris?

In 2026, 7 major stage shows are on: Mickey’s PhilharMagic, The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands, Animation Academy, Mickey and the Magician, Minnie’s Dream Factory, Stitch Live! and TOGETHER: a Pixar Musical Adventure. They take place in air-conditioned theatres at Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World, with several performances a day.

02 Do you need to book to see a stage show?

No. Stage shows are free and included in the ticket price, with a standard queue. Guaranteed Access, at around €15, is optional: it saves you time and secures you a seat even if the show is full.

03 What is the €15 Guaranteed Access and which shows does it cover?

A paid service that guarantees you a seat in the theatre without queuing, at €15 per person (one price for everyone aged 3 and over). You book it in the Disneyland Paris app for the shows that offer it: The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands, Mickey and the Magician and TOGETHER: a Pixar Musical Adventure. You need a valid park ticket, and it’s in your name only. Arrive 15 to 20 minutes before.

04 Where can you find today’s show and parade times?

In the Disneyland Paris app (the Today in the park section) or on my blog. The times change every day depending on the season and the crowds, so I recommend checking that same morning.

05 Are shows and parades included in the ticket?

Yes, all daytime shows, parades and night-time shows (Disney Tales of Magic and Disney Cascade of Lights) are included in the ticket price, in the free viewing areas. Only the paid premium viewing area (a reserved spot closer to the stage) and Guaranteed Access to a stage show are optional extras, which you buy in the Disneyland Paris app.
