At a glance
A Million Splashes of Colour was the daytime show of the "Disney Symphony of Colours" season, performed from 7 February to 6 September 2026. It celebrated art, music and writing through Disney and Pixar worlds.
The staging combined a mini-parade and a stage show. The themed floats, inspired by art, music and writing, travelled from the park entrance along Main Street U.S.A. to Central Plaza, where a show-stop took place in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. The floats were decorated with giant paintbrushes, oversized paint pots, splashes and graphic references to Disney and Pixar films. During the show-stop, the characters climbed onto the stages to dance before the parade headed back to its starting point. The three original floats reflected the pillars of Disney and Pixar storytelling (art, music and writing), with hidden details such as labels subtly referring to Disney characters on the art float.
Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy and Goofy wore exclusive brightly coloured costumes with optical illusion effects and paint splashes. They were joined by Stitch, Timon, Rapunzel, Belle, Snow White, Mirabel Madrigal, Miguel, Joy, Mrs. Incredible and Mr. Incredible, Asha, Judy Hopps, Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Flash and the Genie, along with professional dancers. The soundtrack was based on two original songs, including "The Future’s Starting Right Now", written specially for the show, and a medley of rearranged Disney and Pixar classics.
The show followed "Dreams… And Shine Brighter!", the show of the park’s 30th anniversary season, and was in its second edition.
The parade that left the streets to take over the Central Plaza stages. The floats stopped and the Disney heroes stepped onto podiums at the foot of the castle to dance facing the crowd. The finale featured a giant book float that opened live in front of the audience.

History
The Main Street U.S.A. parade route has hosted many seasonal parades. A Million Splashes of Colour followed on from the daytime shows that celebrate themed seasons for a limited time. First performed in 2024 for the Disney Symphony of Colours season, the show was relaunched on 7 February 2026 for its second edition. The first edition in 2024 marked the Disneyland Paris debut of Mirabel Madrigal (Encanto).
Created by the Disney Live Entertainment teams, the show moved several contemporary floats around Central Plaza. It stood out for its very pop, colourful look, breaking with traditional styles. The art direction mixed classic and recent characters from Disney and Pixar animation.
Theme & story
The parade celebrated the Disney Symphony of Colours season across three timeframes (past, present and future) and paid tribute to the arts (painting, cinema, music, dance). Mickey, Daisy, Goofy and 30 characters and performers took to the Central Plaza stages during the show-stops, to "The Future’s Starting Right Now" and a selection of rearranged Disney and Pixar music.
Who it’s for
Pros and cons
Strong points
- Several performances during the day
- Show-stop in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle
- A very wide cast of Disney and Pixar characters
- Exclusive costumes with optical-illusion effects
- Original soundtrack and Disney/Pixar medley
Weak points
- Big crowds on Central Plaza
- Arriving 30 minutes early recommended
- Seasonal show only
- Times varied from day to day
- Soundtrack sometimes too loud
My verdict
I particularly loved the very infectious energy of this daytime show and having the characters on the different stages. I did find the music a bit too loud at times, though, and the different musical themes overlapped so much that they were sometimes hard to follow. Even so, that took nothing away from the overall energy of the show, which remained a joyful, colourful moment.

Map & getting there
The parade took place in Disneyland Park on Main Street U.S.A. and Central Plaza, in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle.
The parade started at the park entrance, at the bottom of Main Street U.S.A., made its way up the avenue to Central Plaza, went around the square anticlockwise with a show-stop at the foot of the castle, then headed back towards the park entrance, where it finished at its starting point.
A dedicated viewing area for disabled visitors was available.
Your questions about this show
01 Are shows and parades included in the ticket?
Yes, all daytime shows, parades and night-time shows (Disney Tales of Magic and Disney Cascade of Lights) are included in the ticket price, in the free viewing areas. Only the paid premium viewing area (a reserved spot closer to the stage) and Guaranteed Access to a stage show are optional extras, which you buy in the Disneyland Paris app.
02 How early should you find a spot for a parade or show?
Allow 30 to 45 minutes at quiet times, and up to 1 hour to 1 hour 30 at busy times for the best spots. The details for each spot are in my dedicated articles. If you buy paid access, just turn up 10 to 30 minutes before.
03 Where can you find today’s show and parade times?
In the Disneyland Paris app (the Today in the park section) or on my blog. The times change every day depending on the season and the crowds, so I recommend checking that same morning.
04 Can shows and parades be cancelled?
Yes. In severe weather (high winds, storms, heavy rain), night-time shows can be cancelled without notice or replacement. Parades sometimes are too. Check the status on the day in the Disneyland Paris app.
