At a glance
La Boutique du Château is the only shop devoted entirely to Christmas at Disneyland Paris, open all year long inside Sleeping Beauty Castle itself, in Fantasyland.
You’ll find the entrance in the castle hall, across from the Merlin l’Enchanteur shop: a doorway cut into the stone, topped by a backlit stained-glass panel with the shop’s name in medieval lettering, along with a castle-shaped crest and holly leaves.
The interior carries on the world of the 1959 animated movie: a barrel-vaulted ceiling with pointed ribs inspired by the Sainte-Chapelle in Paris, painted red, green, and blue on an off-white background, vault panels with holly interlacing, fleur-de-lis capitals, and electric-candle light fixtures. The red and green floor tiles exactly match the pattern in Princess Aurora’s bedroom in the movie.
Look closely at the stone fireplace, a nod to Disney animators Marc Davis and John Lounsbery. It brings back a moment from the "Once Upon a Dream" sequence, with an owl dressed in Prince Phillip’s cape held up by two birds, a squirrel holding his hat, and rabbits hopping into his boots. The stained-glass windows complete the picture. One shows King Hubert’s crown framed by pine cones, a reminder of the forest where Aurora takes refuge, and another shows Kings Hubert and Stefan raising a toast, a reference to the song "Skumps."
The carved oak cabinets and displays, topped with crowns and castles, hold tree decorations, ornaments, hanging decorations, electric trains, costumes, tableware, and holiday gifts.
A year-round Christmas shop inside the castle. Tucked into the east wing of Sleeping Beauty Castle, it’s the only store in Disneyland Park devoted entirely to Christmas, and it’s open all year. The entrance is marked by a backlit stained-glass panel spelling out its name in medieval lettering that recalls monastic manuscripts, and the doorway is carved right into the castle’s stone.
What you’ll find
History
The shop opened with the park on April 12, 1992. In its early years, it also sold items for other holidays on the calendar (Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day) and an exclusive Sleeping Beauty collection, before switching its focus entirely to Christmas.

- Christmas merchandise available all year
- Plenty of hidden references to the Sleeping Beauty classic
- One-of-a-kind spot inside Sleeping Beauty Castle
The downsides
- Sales floor limited by the castle’s architecture
- Heavy crowds because of its central location
- Christmas-only selection that may feel out of season in the middle of summer

Best time to go
Stop by early in the day or in the late morning: the shop is small and the castle courtyard fills up fast.

Your questions about this shop
01 Where can you buy Disney merchandise at Disneyland Paris?
There are four main places to shop: Disneyland Park (Main Street U.S.A. above all, plus every land), Disney Adventure World, Disney Village (open to everyone, no park ticket required), and, if you book an official Disney hotel, the shop inside your hotel. My dedicated article walks you through the main shops.
02 Is there a way to shop without lugging bags around all day?
Yes. The Shopping Service lets you have your purchases sent to a pickup point, so you can collect them later at the same shop, at another shop on your way out of the park, or even at your Disney hotel’s shop. The service is free in most shops (with a minimum purchase). Just ask the cast member at checkout.
03 What are the shop hours?
Shops inside the parks roughly follow park hours, often opening a little earlier on Main Street U.S.A. and closing a little later after the nighttime show. Disney Village shops have their own hours, usually running later into the evening. You’ll find the exact hours in the Disneyland Paris app.
04 Can you buy Disneyland Paris merchandise online?
There’s no official Disneyland Paris online store. To shop from home, you can use the Disney Store website (formerly shopDisney), which sells official Disney merchandise and sometimes a few items specific to Disneyland Paris. At the resort itself, you buy everything directly in the shops.
