At a glance

La Chaumière des Sept Nains, whose full name is La Chaumière des Sept Nains - Jouets et Vêtements, is in Fantasyland, between Sleeping Beauty Castle and the Blanche-Neige et les Sept Nains ride, across from La Confiserie des Trois Fées.

The store draws on Disney’s 1937 animated classic, the very first feature film from Walt Disney Animation Studios, and stands out for its layout of three story rooms, one after another. The first recreates Queen Grimhilde’s castle, a Gothic design inspired by Bavarian castles: stone paving, blue and white tiles, wide columns with capitals carved into rabbit shapes, coat-of-arms shields, heavy suits of armor, and light fixtures in the colors of Snow White’s dress, decorated with the poisoned red apple.

A transition area brings to mind the movie’s peaceful forest, full of animals busy washing laundry, a nod to the cleaning scene. Two little wooden bridges cross a stream and lead to the last room, the dwarfs’ cottage: warm colors, wood paneling everywhere, tiny place settings, shovels and pickaxes that recall the mine, hanging mugs, and seven small beds, each carrying a dwarf’s name, with his plush on top. The songs from the 1937 classic play on a loop.

Outside, the facade combines a clock tower topped with glazed Burgundy-style tiles, tall stone walls, a wooden porch, and a round tower linked by ramparts.

On the shelves: princess and knight costumes, kids’ clothing, toys, plush, jewelry, accessories, Disney ears, and home goods.

What sets it apart

Three story rooms, with the dwarfs’ beds at the back. The store flows through three rooms in a row, each recreating a key scene from Disney’s 1937 classic: Queen Grimhilde’s Gothic castle, the peaceful forest crossed by little wooden bridges, and the dwarfs’ cottage, where seven small beds, each with a different name, wait at the far end with a plush dwarf on top.

Your questions about this shop

01 Where can you buy Disney merchandise at Disneyland Paris?

There are four main places to shop: Disneyland Park (Main Street U.S.A. above all, plus every land), Disney Adventure World, Disney Village (open to everyone, no park ticket required), and, if you book an official Disney hotel, the shop inside your hotel. My dedicated article walks you through the main shops.

02 Is there a way to shop without lugging bags around all day?

Yes. The Shopping Service lets you have your purchases sent to a pickup point, so you can collect them later at the same shop, at another shop on your way out of the park, or even at your Disney hotel’s shop. The service is free in most shops (with a minimum purchase). Just ask the cast member at checkout.

03 What are the shop hours?

Shops inside the parks roughly follow park hours, often opening a little earlier on Main Street U.S.A. and closing a little later after the nighttime show. Disney Village shops have their own hours, usually running later into the evening. You’ll find the exact hours in the Disneyland Paris app.

04 Can you buy Disneyland Paris merchandise online?

There’s no official Disneyland Paris online store. To shop from home, you can use the Disney Store website (formerly shopDisney), which sells official Disney merchandise and sometimes a few items specific to Disneyland Paris. At the resort itself, you buy everything directly in the shops.
