At a glance
Chez Marianne (Souvenirs de Paris) sits at number 25 on rue Auguste Gusteau, at the entrance to La Place de Rémy, the area themed to the movie Ratatouille (2007), in the Worlds of Pixar land.
The name honors Marianne, the allegorical figure of the French Republic and a symbol of Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity, usually shown wearing a Phrygian cap. She is the same figure who inspired the Statue of Liberty and Eugène Delacroix’s painting Liberty Leading the People.
The architecture follows the codes of the Haussmann style: a classic Parisian facade, red awnings, and woodwork that matches the rest of the area. Inside, warm colors, gilding, large stained-glass windows, and a huge Art Nouveau chandelier set the tone. The beige and pink tile floor is dotted with Tiffany lamps and Eiffel Tower motifs.
The space is laid out in two sections: one for Ratatouille and French cooking (Remy merchandise, tableware, kitchen utensils, candy, cakes, chocolate, and marshmallows), the other for "Paris" souvenirs, where Disney characters are paired with the symbols of the City of Light. Since 2024, an M&M’s stand has rounded out the selection.
A nod to Marianne, with two separate sections. The name pays tribute to Marianne, the allegorical figure of the French Republic, and the shop is split into two connected sections: a Ratatouille side with candy and tableware, and a "Souvenirs de Paris" side featuring the capital’s symbols (Eiffel Tower, fleur-de-lis), where Disney characters strike a pose in the City of Light.

Who it’s made for
Pros and cons
The highlights
- Haussmann-style exterior that recalls central Paris
- A full range of merchandise from the movie Ratatouille
- Sweet treats section with candy, cakes, chocolate, and marshmallows
- M&M’s stand
The downsides
- No big Parisian sweet specialty such as macarons
- Some fans find the decor not very original
My verdict
Where I send you for a "Paris" souvenir. Nowhere else in the parks will you find a corner like Souvenirs de Paris: Disney characters pose next to the Eiffel Tower, which makes for a gift that stands apart from the usual souvenirs.
Over on the Ratatouille side, tableware and marshmallows go over well as a treat for food lovers. Inside, the Tiffany lamps and the big chandelier make it one of the prettiest spots in the park.
Julie’s tip
Best time to go
Your best bet is right when the park opens or around afternoon snack time, so you skip the lunch and dinner rush on La Place de Rémy.

Your questions about this shop
01 Where can you buy Disney merchandise at Disneyland Paris?
There are four main places to shop: Disneyland Park (Main Street U.S.A. above all, plus every land), Disney Adventure World, Disney Village (open to everyone, no park ticket required), and, if you book an official Disney hotel, the shop inside your hotel. My dedicated article walks you through the main shops.
02 Is there a way to shop without lugging bags around all day?
Yes. The Shopping Service lets you have your purchases sent to a pickup point, so you can collect them later at the same shop, at another shop on your way out of the park, or even at your Disney hotel’s shop. The service is free in most shops (with a minimum purchase). Just ask the cast member at checkout.
03 What are the shop hours?
Shops inside the parks roughly follow park hours, often opening a little earlier on Main Street U.S.A. and closing a little later after the nighttime show. Disney Village shops have their own hours, usually running later into the evening. You’ll find the exact hours in the Disneyland Paris app.
04 Can you buy Disneyland Paris merchandise online?
There’s no official Disneyland Paris online store. To shop from home, you can use the Disney Store website (formerly shopDisney), which sells official Disney merchandise and sometimes a few items specific to Disneyland Paris. At the resort itself, you buy everything directly in the shops.
