At a glance

Chez Marianne (Souvenirs de Paris) is at number 25 rue Auguste Gusteau, at the entrance to La Place de Rémy, the area based on the film Ratatouille (2007), in the Worlds of Pixar land.

The shop is named after Marianne, the allegorical figure of the French Republic and symbol of Liberty, Equality and Fraternity, usually shown wearing a Phrygian cap. It’s the same figure that inspired the Statue of Liberty and Eugène Delacroix’s painting Liberty Leading the People.

The building follows the codes of Haussmann-style architecture: a typical Parisian facade, red awnings and woodwork in keeping with the rest of the area. Inside, warm colours, gilding, large stained-glass windows and a huge Art Nouveau chandelier set the scene. The beige and pink tiled floor is dotted with Tiffany lamps and images of the Eiffel Tower.

The shop is split into two sections. One is devoted to Ratatouille and food (Remy merchandise, tableware, kitchen utensils, sweets, cakes, chocolates and marshmallows). The other sells "Paris" souvenirs, where Disney characters are paired with symbols of the City of Light. Since 2024, an M&M’s stand has rounded off the range.

What makes it stand out

A tribute to Marianne, with two separate sections. The shop’s name pays tribute to Marianne, the allegorical figure of the French Republic, and it is split into two connecting sections: a Ratatouille section with sweets and tableware, and a "Souvenirs de Paris" section with the symbols of the capital (Eiffel Tower, fleur-de-lis), where Disney characters strike a pose in the City of Light.

My verdict

The shop I recommend for a "Paris" souvenir. The Souvenirs de Paris section is one of a kind in the parks: Disney characters pose with the Eiffel Tower, perfect for a gift that doesn’t look like a standard souvenir.

And on the Ratatouille side, the tableware and marshmallows go down well as a foodie gift. The interior, with its Tiffany lamps and large chandelier, is one of the prettiest in the park.

Your questions about this shop

01 Where can you shop for Disney merchandise at Disneyland Paris?

You have four main options: the shops in Disneyland Park (mainly on Main Street U.S.A. and in each land), the shops in Disney Adventure World, the shops in Disney Village (no park ticket needed) and your hotel shop if you’re staying at an official Disney Hotel. I go through the main shops in my dedicated article.

02 Can you shop without carrying your bags all day?

Yes. The Shopping Service lets you have your purchases sent to a collection point, to pick up later in the shop, or as you leave the park in another shop, or even in the shop at your Disney Hotel. The service is free in most shops (above a minimum spend). Just ask the sales assistant when you pay.

03 What are the shops’ opening hours?

The shops in the parks roughly follow the parks’ opening hours, often opening a little earlier on Main Street U.S.A. and closing a little later after the night-time show. The Disney Village shops have their own opening hours, usually later into the evening. The exact times are in the Disneyland Paris app.

04 Can you order Disneyland Paris merchandise online?

There’s no official Disneyland Paris online shop. To buy from home, you can go to the Disney Store website (formerly shopDisney), which sells official Disney merchandise and sometimes a few Disneyland Paris-specific products. At the resort, you buy directly in the shops.
