Four Disney hotels at Disneyland Paris offer Club rooms, meaning an upmarket floor with access to a private lounge. Each one has a different name: the Castle Club at the Disneyland Hotel, the Empire State Club at Disney Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel, the Compass Club at Disney Newport Bay Club and the Golden Forest Club at Disney Sequoia Lodge.

All the other hotels (Cheyenne, Santa Fe, Davy Crockett Ranch and the partner hotels) have no Club. Here’s the full comparison to help you decide which one to choose.

What is a Club room?

A Club room is a room on an upmarket floor of the hotel that gives you access to a private lounge. The service is more personal than with a standard room, with a dedicated reception.

The Club lounge

The Club lounge is a space reserved for Club guests, where drinks and snacks are served throughout the day. It’s a calm place to unwind between two park days.

Breakfast and afternoon snack included

  • Access to the private lounge A space reserved for Club guests, with complimentary soft drinks during the day.
  • Breakfast included Served in the lounge in the morning (usually 7:00-11:00), at no extra cost.
  • Afternoon snack included Snacks and drinks served in the lounge in the afternoon (usually 16:00-18:00).
  • Dedicated reception A separate check-in, quicker than at the main reception.
  • Extra in-room amenities Additional extras compared with a standard room in the same hotel.

Which Disney hotels have a Club?

Four Disney hotels have a Club, all in the Resort’s upmarket range. The table below lists these hotels and the name of their Club. It updates automatically if a hotel opens or closes its Club floor. The detailed comparison comes a little further down.

Disney Hotel Cheyenne, Disney Hotel Santa Fe and Disney Davy Crockett Ranch have no Club rooms and no private lounge. The same goes for all the partner hotels and the hotels in Val d’Europe. So if you’re after a Club room, you’ll need to go for one of the four upmarket Disney hotels.

Empire State Club (Disney Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel)

The Empire State Club is the Club floor of Disney Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel, the Marvel-themed hotel. The Club rooms are on the 3rd, 4th, 7th and 8th floors, with a view of Lake Disney or the garden.

You get the core package shared by all the Clubs (private lounge, breakfast and afternoon snack included, dedicated reception). Breakfast is served in the lounge, without characters: breakfast with the princesses is only available at the Castle Club.

Compass Club (Disney Newport Bay Club)

The Compass Club is the Club floor of Disney Newport Bay Club, the hotel with a New England nautical theme. The Club rooms are on the 7th and 8th floors, with a view of Lake Disney or the garden.

The services are those of the core package. Breakfast is served in the lounge, without characters.

Golden Forest Club (Disney Sequoia Lodge)

The Golden Forest Club is the Club floor of Disney Sequoia Lodge, the hotel themed around nature and forests. The Club rooms are on the 5th, 6th and 7th floors of the main building, with a view of Lake Disney or the garden.

You get the same core package. Breakfast is served in the lounge, without characters.

What about the Castle Club at the Disneyland Hotel?

The Castle Club is the Club floor of the Disneyland Hotel, the Resort’s most upmarket hotel. It’s also the only one where breakfast comes with the Disney princesses.

As it has its own amenities and its own level of service, I cover it separately: you’ll find everything in my guide to Club rooms at the Disneyland Hotel.

Which Club room should you choose?

  • You want breakfast with the princesses Go for the Castle Club at the Disneyland Hotel, the only one that offers it (and the most upmarket).
  • You love the Marvel universe The Empire State Club at Disney Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel, decorated on that theme.
  • You want a nautical setting by the lake The Compass Club at Disney Newport Bay Club, with a New England theme.
  • You prefer a nature feel The Golden Forest Club at Disney Sequoia Lodge, in a forest setting.

A Club room is a paid option on top of the standard room price. The supplement varies by hotel, time of year and length of stay. As breakfast and the afternoon snack are included every day, the value is best worked out per night. To compare the hotels, see all the hotels compared.
