Free parking at Disneyland Paris is possible, depending on your situation. Annual passholders (Disneyland Pass) and guests of a Disney hotel already park at Disney for nothing.
If you’re paying full price for the visitor parking lot (€30 a day for a car), there’s another route: park for free a little farther away, then get to the parks on the RER A or by bus.
First, I go over the cases where Disney parking costs you nothing, then the ways to park elsewhere for free. Above all, I tell you honestly when it’s worth it and when it isn’t, because RER or bus fares, multiplied by the number of people in your group, can wipe out the savings.
Think of this page as a companion to my Disneyland Paris visitor parking guide and my guide to the Indigo parking garage at Disney Village. Its only focus: how not to pay for parking, or how to pay less.
When is Disney parking free?
The official park parking lot is free in three situations. Outside of those, you pay the standard visitor rate.
- You’re staying at a Disney hotel: parking is included. You show the access pass you get at your hotel’s front desk (MagicPass (formerly the Disney Hotel Easy Pass)).
- You’re an annual passholder (Disneyland Pass): parking is free at every tier (Bronze, Silver, Gold), for a car under 2 m tall or a motorcycle.
- You’re at a partner hotel: you park free only when your stay was booked through Disneyland Paris (the official website or reservation center), and that covers the Explorers group as well as the other partner hotels. Booked the hotel on its own website or through a third-party site? Then parking isn’t included.
Is parking free with an annual pass?
Yes. The visitor parking lot is free for all annual passholders (Disneyland Pass), whatever the tier (Bronze, Silver, Gold), for a car (under 2 meters tall) or a motorcycle.
All you do is show your pass when you drive in. If you tend to come by car, it ranks among the handiest pass perks. The tiers and the rest of the perks are covered in the Disneyland Pass guide.
In every other case, the visitor parking lot costs €30 per day for a car. That’s the price to use as a benchmark when you compare it with the options below. The full details (motorcycle and RV rates, hours) are in the visitor parking guide.

Parking for free near Disneyland and getting to the parks
Your easiest, cleanest bet is the Val d’Europe shopping mall: its lot costs nothing, and the parks sit a single RER stop away. Below are the options, each with its drawbacks.
In April 2024, the bus routes around here switched to 4-digit numbers (the former 2-digit numbers are gone), so look up the exact route and schedule on Île-de-France Mobilités before heading out.
Val d’Europe: free parking for getting to Disneyland
The Val d’Europe shopping mall has a large free parking lot. It’s the best option because the parks are right next door.
From Val d’Europe, there are two ways to get to the parks:
By RER A: Val d’Europe station is just one stop from the end of the line at Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy, the parks’ station. It’s a direct ride of about 3 minutes, and the fastest way.
By bus: buses 2233 and 2234 go to the area around the parks’ station (Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy). Be sure to check the schedule on Île-de-France Mobilités.
Don’t mix up the free parking at the Val d’Europe shopping mall with the Parc Relais Val d’Europe (run by a different operator), which charges a fee (about €7 for 24 hours) and is closed on Sundays and public holidays. If free is what you’re after, it’s the shopping mall lot you want.
Clos du Chêne (Montévrain): free but farther away
The Clos du Chêne shopping mall in Montévrain also has a free parking lot. To get to the parks, there’s no direct bus: take bus 2222, then the 2319 (one transfer). So it’s a bit longer and less convenient than Val d’Europe. Check the route, the transfer, and the schedule on Île-de-France Mobilités or Vianavigo before you go.
Bussy-Saint-Georges station: a paid but cheap park-and-ride
The Bussy-Saint-Georges station parking lot (the park-and-ride right next to the station) isn’t free, but it costs much less than Disney parking. Near the station, free parking is limited to blue zones (1 hour 30 minutes max with a parking disc), which don’t really work for a full day.
On the other hand, a little farther from the station, you’ll often find free street parking: you can leave your car there for the day, then walk to the station. Be sure to check the parking rules on site (zone and time allowed).
The big plus of Bussy is the RER: from the station, you’re 2 stops from Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy (with just one stop in between, Val d’Europe), so about 6 to 8 minutes of travel. It’s a fair option to weigh if you want to pay less than for Disney parking.
Is it really worth it?
Not always. What you save on parking can be wiped out by the cost of RER or bus tickets, especially for a family. You need to run the numbers for your own case: the savings (the parking you avoid) versus the cost of transportation multiplied by the number of people, plus the extra time and walking.
From Val d’Europe, as a rough guide, count the price of an RER A round-trip ticket per person. For 1 or 2 people, the total stays well below the €30 for parking, so it clearly pays off.
For a family of 4 or 5, round-trip tickets for everyone quickly come close to the price of parking, and on top of that you lose time and comfort. In that case, parking is often the better choice.
| Option | Parking cost | To finish the trip | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Centre commercial Val d’Europe | Free | RER A 1 stop, or a local bus | 1 to 2 people, short visit |
| Clos du Chêne shopping mall | Free parking to be confirmed | At least 2 buses, no direct route | Avoid unless you know the area well |
| Val d’Europe park-and-ride | About €7 / 24 hours, closed Sundays and holidays | RER A 1 stop | Cheap and risk-free, except on Sundays |
| Bussy-Saint-Georges station | Paid park-and-ride, inexpensive | RER A 2 stops | Paying less without the hassle |
| Indigo parking garage, Disney Village | Paid, see the rate details | Walk to the parks | Tight budget, no transit |
| Disney visitor parking lot | €30 / day | None, walk to the parks | Families, comfort, simplicity |

Frequently asked questions
01 Is parking free with the Disneyland Pass?
Yes. Visitor parking comes with every Disneyland Pass, whatever the tier (Bronze One, Bronze Max, Silver, Gold), for a car or a motorcycle. You show your pass (QR code) at the booth or at the automatic kiosk at the parking lot and pay nothing, except on your tier’s blockout days. RVs use a separate parking area.
02 Do Disney hotel guests park for free?
Yes, parking is included in your stay. Just show the access pass (MagicPass, formerly Easy Pass) the hotel gives you at the front desk. For a partner hotel, parking is only free if you booked through Disneyland Paris.
03 Where can you find free parking near Disneyland Paris?
The easiest is the free parking lot at the Val d’Europe shopping mall. From there, you reach the parks by RER A (just one stop, about 3 minutes) or by local bus. Be sure to follow the parking rules posted on site.
04 Is it OK to park at Val d’Europe for the whole day?
The operator advertises free parking with no time limit, but this lot is meant for shoppers, and nothing explicitly allows you to leave your car there all day to go to the park. Check the rules posted on site: overstaying can lead to a fine.
05 Does parking somewhere else to visit Disneyland Paris actually save money?
For 1 or 2 people or a short visit, yes: the RER A from Val d’Europe is still cheap and the parking is free. For a family of 4 or 5, the cost of round-trip tickets times the number of people quickly gets close to the parking price, not to mention the extra time and walking.
06 How much is visitor parking if I’m not a passholder or a Disney hotel guest?
Visitor parking costs €30 per day for a car. That’s the benchmark for deciding whether a free option nearby is worth it.
