At a glance
Lilly’s Boutique, subtitled "Items for a Home Sweet Home," takes up the ground floor of a small Victorian house on the second half of Main Street U.S.A., right below Walt’s - an American restaurant. The name honors Lillian Marie Bounds Disney, Walt’s wife, nicknamed Lilly. Her initials, L and B, show up in the decor.
Facing Main Street, the front combines white stonework with brick. Above it sit two windows with burgundy shades and the inscription "Since 1901", which marks Walt Disney’s birth year. Around the corner on Flower Street, the building is painted ocher and has a slate roof, with a bay window projecting from the upper floor.
The shop spreads across three connecting rooms that stand in for the rooms of a home: the dining room (hardwood floors, pink floral wallpaper, gas lamps, a crystal chandelier, carved shelves, and a wooden fireplace), the kitchen (white tiles with painted flowers, cast-iron pots, vintage grinders), and the bathroom, which opens onto Flower Street (tiles and pastel walls). Each room has its own register so the small spaces don’t get overcrowded.
Several vintage photos of Walt and Lillian Disney are scattered through the setting, many of them taken on their trips to Europe: in Switzerland facing the Matterhorn, or in Paris in front of the Eiffel Tower. A door near the register on the Main Street side leads straight to the piano and the entrance of Walt’s.
Everything for sale here is for the home: ceramic and porcelain dishes, mugs, glasses, plates, bowls, plus kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom items.
Vintage photos of Walt and Lillian Disney. This tribute to Lillian Bounds Disney, Walt’s wife, displays real photos of the couple in a charming little Victorian house tucked under Walt’s - An American Restaurant. The "Since 1901" date on the facade refers to the year Walt Disney was born.
What you’ll find
History
The shop opened in June 1999, after the ground floor of Walt’s - an American restaurant, used until then as a dining room, was given a new theme.
Theme & world
Who it’s made for
Pros and cons
The highlights
- Three-room staging that recreates the Disney couple’s home
- Original Walt’s decor partly preserved, with a fireplace and photos of the couple
The downsides
- Quickly packed when the park is busy
- Many breakable items, so it’s not the best place for little kids
- The visit is broken up into several small rooms in a row
- Most guests have no idea about the story behind the shop
My verdict
Julie’s tip
Best time to go
Go at park opening or in mid-afternoon, when the parade isn’t passing by: the three small rooms fill up fast.

Your questions about this shop
01 Where can you buy Disney merchandise at Disneyland Paris?
There are four main places to shop: Disneyland Park (Main Street U.S.A. above all, plus every land), Disney Adventure World, Disney Village (open to everyone, no park ticket required), and, if you book an official Disney hotel, the shop inside your hotel. My dedicated article walks you through the main shops.
02 Is there a way to shop without lugging bags around all day?
Yes. The Shopping Service lets you have your purchases sent to a pickup point, so you can collect them later at the same shop, at another shop on your way out of the park, or even at your Disney hotel’s shop. The service is free in most shops (with a minimum purchase). Just ask the cast member at checkout.
03 What are the shop hours?
Shops inside the parks roughly follow park hours, often opening a little earlier on Main Street U.S.A. and closing a little later after the nighttime show. Disney Village shops have their own hours, usually running later into the evening. You’ll find the exact hours in the Disneyland Paris app.
04 Can you buy Disneyland Paris merchandise online?
There’s no official Disneyland Paris online store. To shop from home, you can use the Disney Store website (formerly shopDisney), which sells official Disney merchandise and sometimes a few items specific to Disneyland Paris. At the resort itself, you buy everything directly in the shops.
