Can you bring your dog to Disneyland Paris?

You can bring your dog as far as the resort itself, but it won’t be going anywhere inside with you. Pets are banned from both parks and from every Disney hotel at the Resort. The same rule applies to Disney Village.

There’s one exception to the rule: guide dogs and assistance dogs, which get in once you show the right paperwork. To see what else security turns away, items and animals alike, read the items banned at the park entrance.

If your dog is traveling with you, you have two options on site: the kennel, to have it looked after for the day, or the single Disney hotel that accepts dogs, located away from the parks.

The Animal Care Center: the Disneyland Paris kennel

Run by the Resort itself, the Animal Care Center is the official place to board your pet. Both dogs and cats belonging to visitors can stay there while you’re out enjoying the parks.

Daytime care costs €25 per animal. Water and food are provided, and each animal gets its own individual kennel. Overnight care is available too, at the same price of €25 per animal: day and night count as two separate periods, so plan on twice that for a full 24 hours. Handy if you arrive the day before or if you’re staying away from the parks.

Requirements for boarding your dog

  • Pet ID Your pet must be identified with a microchip or a readable tattoo.
  • Up-to-date vaccines You’ll need to show your pet’s vaccination booklet or its European pet passport.
  • Rabies vaccine A valid rabies vaccination is required (given more than one month and less than one year earlier).
  • Dogs not accepted Category 1 dogs (attack dogs) and category 2 dogs (guard and defense dogs, such as Rottweilers or Staffordshires not registered with the LOF) are not accepted.

Kennel hours and location

  • Opens From 8:00.
  • Closes 45 minutes after the nighttime show ends.
  • Location You’ll find it where the visitor parking lot ends, toward Disney Village, just before the moving walkways heading to the entrance.
  • Outside the parks Easy drop-off and pickup for your pet, with no need to clear security.

Which Disney hotel accepts dogs?

Only one Disney property accepts dogs: Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch. It’s a set of cabins in the middle of the forest, separate from the park’s standard hotels. One dog is allowed per cabin, for an extra charge of about €30 per night.

The kennel’s rules on dog categories hold here too, so no category 1 or 2 dogs. Your dog also needs a microchip or tattoo for ID, current vaccinations, and a valid rabies shot. Call to have it added to your booking sometime between 2 months and 1 week ahead of your arrival.

Two things to know. The Ranch is about fifteen minutes by car from the parks, so a car is close to essential, and your dog still can’t go into the parks. For the full hotel details (cabins, welcome kit, services), see Davy Crockett Ranch in my hotel guides.

What about guide dogs and assistance dogs?

Guide dogs and assistance dogs are the only animals allowed in the parks, with proof of status. If needed, they can also stay at the kennel.

For the full access rules and required documents, see the items banned at the park entrance. And to plan the rest of your trip, check out the guide to practical services at Disneyland Paris.

Frequently asked questions

01 How much is the kennel at Disneyland Paris?

Daytime boarding costs €25 per animal, water and food included. Overnight boarding is also available, at the same €25 per animal: day and night count as two separate periods, so plan on double for a full 24 hours.

02 What documents do I need to leave my dog at the kennel?

Bring the vaccination booklet or European pet passport showing current vaccines, plus a rabies shot that’s still valid (done at least 1 month and at most 1 year ago). Your pet also has to be identified with a microchip or a tattoo.

03 Which Disney hotel allows dogs?

Only Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch accepts dogs, one dog per cabin, for a fee of about €30 per night. That doesn’t mean your dog can go into the parks, though. Category 1 and 2 dogs are not allowed.

04 Can I leave my dog alone in the cabin at Davy Crockett Ranch?

Yes, it’s tolerated: your dog can stay alone in the cabin during the day, at no extra cost, with a sign on the door for housekeeping. Still, think about its well-being before leaving it alone for several hours: heat in the cabin, how used it is to being alone, and its need for walks and fresh water.

05 Can your pet come along, and where can your dog stay?

Pets aren’t allowed in the parks or in the Disney hotels. The exceptions are Davy Crockett Ranch, which accepts dogs in some bungalows, and guide and assistance dogs with proof of status. For other pets, a kennel near the parks will look after your animal for the day while you visit.
