Can you bring your dog to Disneyland Paris?
Your dog can come as far as the resort, but it won’t get in anywhere with you. Pets are banned from both parks and from every Disney hotel on the resort. The same rule applies to Disney Village.
The only exception: guide dogs and assistance dogs, allowed in the park with proof of their status. For the full list of items and animals turned away at security, see what you can’t bring into the parks.
If your dog is travelling with you, you have two options on site: the kennel for day care, or the one Disney hotel that accepts dogs, away from the parks.
The Animal Care Center: the Disneyland Paris kennel
The Animal Care Center is the resort’s official kennel. It looks after visitors’ dogs and cats while you spend the day in the parks.
Day care costs €25 per animal. Water and food are provided, and each animal has its own pen. Overnight care is also available, at the same price of €25 per animal. Day and night are two separate periods, so allow double for a full 24 hours. Handy if you arrive the day before or are staying further away.
Kennel requirements for your dog
- ID Your pet must have a microchip or a readable tattoo.
- Up-to-date vaccinations Bring the vaccination record or European pet passport.
- Rabies vaccination A valid rabies vaccination is compulsory (given more than a month ago and less than a year ago).
- Dogs not accepted Category 1 dogs (attack dogs) and category 2 dogs (guard and defence dogs, such as Rottweilers and Staffordshires not registered with the LOF, the French kennel club) are not accepted.
Kennel opening hours and location
- Opens From 8:00.
- Closes 45 minutes after the night-time show ends.
- Location At the far end of the visitor car park, on the Disney Village side, before the moving walkways that lead to the entrance.
- Outside the parks Handy for dropping off and picking up your pet without going through security.
Which Disney hotel accepts dogs?
Just one Disney hotel accepts dogs: Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch. It’s made up of bungalows deep in the forest, set apart from the resort’s standard hotels. One dog is allowed per bungalow, for a supplement of around €30 per night.
The same category restrictions as at the kennel apply: category 1 and 2 dogs are not allowed, and your dog must be identified (microchip or tattoo), with its vaccinations and rabies jab up to date. Remember to add it to your booking by phone, between 2 months and 1 week before you arrive.
Two things worth knowing. The Ranch is about fifteen minutes’ drive from the parks, so a car is pretty much essential, and your dog still won’t be able to go into the parks. For details on the hotel (bungalows, welcome kit, services), see Davy Crockett Ranch in my hotel guides.

What about guide dogs and assistance dogs?
Guide dogs and assistance dogs are the only ones allowed in the parks, on presentation of proof of their status. If needed, they can also stay at the kennel.

Frequently asked questions
01 How much does the kennel at Disneyland Paris cost?
Day care costs €25 per animal, water and food included. Overnight care is also available, at the same price of €25 per animal: day and night are two separate periods, so expect to pay double for a full 24 hours.
02 What documents do you need to leave your dog at the kennels?
The vaccination record or European pet passport, with up-to-date vaccinations and a valid rabies vaccination (given between 1 month and 1 year ago). The animal must be identified by microchip or tattoo.
03 Which Disney hotel accepts dogs?
Only Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch accepts dogs, with one dog per bungalow and a supplement of around €30 per night. That doesn’t mean your dog can go into the parks. Category 1 and 2 dogs are not allowed.
04 Can you leave your dog alone in a Davy Crockett Ranch bungalow?
Yes, it’s tolerated: your dog can stay alone in the bungalow during the day, at no extra cost, with a sign on the door for housekeeping. Do think about its wellbeing before leaving it alone for several hours, though: heat inside the bungalow, whether it’s used to being alone and its need for walks and fresh water.
05 Can you bring your pet, and what can you do with your dog?
Pets are not allowed in the parks or the Disney hotels, except at the Davy Crockett Ranch, which accepts dogs in some bungalows, apart from guide and assistance dogs with proof. For other pets, a kennel near the parks will look after your animal for the day while you visit.
