Arriving by train with your suitcases? Leaving in the evening but already checked out of your room? Don’t want to carry your winter coat around all day? That’s what luggage storage is for. I explain where to leave your bags, what it costs and how it works.

What is luggage storage for and when should you use it?

Luggage storage lets you leave bulky belongings in a supervised place while you visit. You collect your bags on your way out. The idea is simple: enjoy the parks without being weighed down.

  • On your arrival day, when your room isn’t ready yet
  • On your departure day, after checking out
  • If you’re visiting for the day by train, with your suitcases in tow
  • In winter, so you’re not carrying coats and scarves all day
  • After a big shopping spree you don’t want to lug around
  • For a folded pushchair you no longer need that day

Where can you leave your luggage at Disneyland Paris?

There are three places to leave your suitcases. Two are run by Disney, the third by the station. Watch out for one point that often causes confusion: at the park, there are no self-service lockers, just a counter staffed by a Cast Member. The real automatic lockers are at the station.

In Disneyland Park

This is the main luggage storage. It’s to the right of the Disneyland Park entrance, near Guest Relations. It’s an official Disney service that works as a staffed counter: there are no fixed lockers, a Cast Member takes your belongings by hand. You can pay in cash or by bank card.

In the Disney hotels

If you’re staying at a Disney hotel, you can leave your bags in the luggage room, usually at reception. It’s an official Disney service and it’s free for hotel guests.

At Marne-la-Vallée Chessy TGV station

The station has automatic lockers upstairs, before the Disney security check. Watch out: this service is independent of Disney, it’s run by the station, not the park. The lockers can’t be booked and are often full at weekends and during the school holidays. Bank cards and contactless are now accepted.

How much does luggage storage cost?

The price depends on the size of your belongings and where you leave them. Here’s a comparison of the three options.

SizeDisneyland ParkDisney hotelTGV station
Accessories€5Free€5.50
Small€11Free€7.50
Large€15Free€9.50

Prices are a guide only and may change.

Which sizes and types of luggage?

Disney doesn’t publish official dimensions down to the centimetre. At the park counter, the Cast Member sorts your belongings by size. Here are the three categories, with examples to help you.

  • Accessories motorbike helmet, shopping bag, umbrella, small handbag
  • Small standard backpack, medium sports bag, soft holdall
  • Large hold suitcase, large travel bag, folded pushchair

Opening hours and how it works

The Disneyland Park luggage storage is open every day from 8:00 and stays open until 45 minutes after Disneyland Park closes. No booking: it’s on the spot, at the counter. At the station, the lockers are self-service, every day from 7:00 to 22:00. You pay a drop-off fee, then €5 per item for every 24 hours, up to 72 hours.

Disney Express: have your luggage delivered to your hotel

Not to be confused with luggage storage: Disney Express doesn’t keep your belongings on site, it transfers them straight from the station to your hotel. You arrive hands-free and head to the parks without waiting for check-in time.

When you arrive, drop your luggage at the Disney Express desk, on the 1st floor of Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy station, between 7:45 and 21:00. You check in to your hotel there (pre-check-in) and leave with your park tickets. Your suitcases are delivered to your hotel. On the day you leave, drop your bags at your hotel’s luggage room before 11:00, then collect them at the station desk between 13:00 and 21:00. The service is paid (allow €18 per person), must be booked in advance and is open to guests of Disney hotels and Partner Hotels (except Davy Crockett Ranch and Center Parcs Villages Nature).
