What is the Privilege Ticket?
Holders of a Magic Plus or Infinity annual pass, tiers from the old lineup, used to get this perk. With it, they could purchase admission for friends and relatives at a lower price, through an online booking system with a limited allowance.
In its day, it played the same role as today’s offer for inviting your loved ones to the park for less.
The terms back then
Here’s what the Privilege Ticket offered, for the record:
- Limited to two tiers: Magic Plus annual passes (up to 10 tickets over the pass’s validity) and Infinity (up to 20 tickets).
- Weekly cap: 5 Privilege Tickets per week at most.
- Access: 2 parks on the same day.
- Passholder required in person: on the day of the booking, you collected the tickets at the ticket booths by the park entrance (back then Walt Disney Studios, today Disney Adventure World) and paid for them there, showing your valid annual pass along with the email confirmation.
- Online booking on the platform set up for annual passholders.
Privilege Ticket vs. Friends Tickets: what changed
Friends Tickets replace the Privilege Ticket, with different terms:
- Who’s eligible
- the current offer is open to the adult tiers of the Disneyland Pass lineup, while the Privilege Ticket was limited to Magic Plus and Infinity only.
- Coming along with your guests
- not necessary anymore. Your guests receive their QR codes from you and enter the park on their own (in the past, the passholder had to be at the ticket booth).
- Purchase
- everything happens online, in the app or on the official website. There’s no more picking up tickets at the booth.
For the full details of the current offer, its terms, and a step-by-step purchase tutorial, see the Friends Tickets guide.

Frequently asked questions
01 Can you still book a Privilege Ticket at Disneyland Paris?
No. The Privilege Ticket was discontinued along with the old pass lineup. It has been replaced by Friends Tickets, which are only for Disneyland Pass holders.
02 How much did a Privilege Ticket cost?
Back then, the price depended on your pass: €47 in off-peak season and €66 in peak season with a Magic Plus, €42 and €61 with an Infinity. These prices no longer apply, since the former offer is gone.
03 What’s the difference between the Privilege Ticket and Friends Tickets?
The former Privilege Ticket was only for Magic Plus and Infinity passholders, and the holder had to be there in person at the ticket window. Friends Tickets are open to today’s adult tiers, are booked entirely online, and don’t require you to be there: your guests get in with their QR code.
