Old annual passes at Disneyland Paris: Dream to today’s lineup

Since the park opened in 1992, Disneyland Paris has gone through several annual pass lineups, each with its own names and perks. Here’s a quick look at the lineups longtime fans have known, from the Dream lineup to the current one.

Several pass lineups since 1992

Over the years, Disneyland Paris kept reworking its annual pass offer. With each overhaul, the pass names and perks changed: number of days of access, discounts, members-only services, and so on.

The very first years aren’t well documented. So I’m starting with the lineups most regulars remember, beginning with the Dream lineup. For the lineup on sale today, head this way: the complete Disneyland Pass guide.

The Dream lineup: Francilien, Fantasy, and Dream

For a long stretch before 2017, three passes made up the whole offer:

Francilien
the entry-level pass, first intended only for locals in the greater Paris area.
Fantasy
the middle option.
Dream
the top pass, loaded with perks (almost unlimited entry, early park access, bigger discounts). Die-hard regulars went for this one.

My boyfriend had Dream passports himself and remembers that era well.

The Magic lineup: Discovery, Magic Flex, Magic Plus, and Infinity

In 2017, Disneyland Paris rebuilt its offer around four new passes, ranked from basic to premium:

Discovery
the budget option, blocked on many dates.
Magic Flex
a notch higher, with discounts included.
Magic Plus
almost unlimited entry plus extra perks.
Infinity
the premium pass, with unlimited entry and VIP parking closest to the gates.

This lineup also introduced monthly payments. The higher your tier, the more days of access, discounts (stores, restaurants, tickets), and perks like Extra Magic Time you got.

Depending on the tier, these Magic passes came with other perks that no longer exist: free stroller and wheelchair rental, free use of the kennel and the luggage storage lockers, reserved viewing areas for parades and shows, dedicated park entrances, and a discount on Disneyland Paris vacations.

The Magic Plus and Infinity passes also included Privilege Tickets, for bringing friends and family at a discounted price: the forerunner of Friends Tickets. I cover it in the former Privilege Ticket.

The end of the Magic lineup

Disneyland Paris stopped selling the Magic passes in March 2023, then unveiled a new lineup in July 2023. A number of old perks vanished along the way, Infinity’s VIP parking among them. The old passes were physical cards known as passports, while the Disneyland Pass switched to a 100% digital format with no card at all.

Frequently asked questions

01 What were the old Disneyland Paris annual passes?

Before today’s lineup, there was the Dream range (Francilien, Fantasy, and Dream), followed by the Magic range (Discovery, Magic Flex, Magic Plus, and Infinity). Several other ranges have existed since 1992, but there’s less information about them.

02 What was the Infinity pass at Disneyland Paris?

The Infinity was the top tier of the Magic range (2017-2023): unlimited access, VIP parking, and Privilege Tickets to invite your friends and family. It was replaced by the Gold pass in today’s lineup.

03 Do these old passes still exist?

No. Today’s Disneyland Pass took over from the Magic range, which itself had replaced the Dream range. For the full picture, see my complete Disneyland Pass guide.
