The Disney Princess Cavalcade is one of the first new additions to bring Disney Adventure World to life. Four princesses each ride their own float, stop to dance and pick children from both sides of the route. As it goes up Adventure Way and back again, one good spot is all you need to see it twice.
Here I focus on where to stand: the four show stops, how early to arrive and the wheelchair-accessible area. For details of the show itself (running order, characters, length), the page below goes with this article.
Where to stand: the route and the show stops
Here’s how it works: the floats go up Adventure Way, pause at a show stop to dance, then come back the other way. So there’s no need to rush around. Settle in once and you’ll see the procession on the way out and on the way back.
For the best view, stand level with a show stop, where the princesses pause. The choreography is simple, but it’s the only moment they stay still long enough for good photos. At each stop, the dancers pick a child from each side of the route (one per dancer) for a few minutes of fun. If your child is hoping to be chosen, aim for the front row, whichever side you’re on.
If you can’t get a spot at a show stop, anywhere along Adventure Way lets you see the floats go by, with the bonus of seeing them twice.

My verdict on the Disney Princess Cavalcade
Personally, I loved it. This cavalcade finally brings some life to Adventure Way several times a day, with new floats, which is still rare at Disneyland Paris. I also enjoyed seeing princesses you rarely see elsewhere, like Raya.
The floats are nicely decorated and the music is original. It’s a smaller-scale cavalcade, shorter than the big parades at Disneyland Park (hence the name cavalcade), but the moments with the children make it a really lovely time, especially as a family.
What I liked
- Nicely decorated floats and original music
- The interaction with children, a real plus
- Princesses you rarely see elsewhere, like Raya
- Entertainment several times a day, in the middle of the day
What might bother you
- A smaller cavalcade than the parades at Disneyland Park
- Pleasant but slightly repetitive music
- Very loud sound: ear defenders can help for young children
- A route in full sun, with no shade or shelter if it rains
How early should you arrive?
It all depends on how good a spot you want.
Allow 5 to 10 minutes beforehand for a decent spot further back, where you’ll easily see the floats go by. To be right at the front, level with a show stop, allow more like 15 to 30 minutes. And if you want the front row (for photos or so your child gets chosen), you’ll need over 30 minutes, especially on busy days.
As the cavalcade runs several times a day, here’s a tip: if the first one is too crowded, try again at a quieter time. Check the day’s show times in the app.

Where to watch in a wheelchair (accessible viewing)
There is a viewing area reserved for visitors with reduced mobility for the cavalcade, on showing the Disney Priority Card. It gives a clear view and saves you from elbowing your way through the crowd. Find it and let a Cast Member know as soon as you reach the area, as spaces there are limited.
For details of access cards, services and everything that makes your visit easier, see my guide to accessibility and disability at Disneyland Paris.
