To meet Stitch in person, head to his meet and greet spot in Disneyland Park (the park with the castle). There you can take a photo with him, give him a hug and share a little moment together. The meet and greet is free and included in your park ticket.
One important thing to know before you go looking for him: Stitch’s exact location and times change often depending on the time of year. So I won’t give you a fixed spot that would soon be out of date.
The best approach is to check whether he’s on that day in the Disneyland Paris app, once your ticket has been scanned at the entrance. It’s the most reliable source for knowing where and when to find him.
Don’t confuse the meet and greet (a real photo, a real hug) with two other ways of seeing Stitch either: the Stitch Live! show, where he talks to you from a screen, and his cavalcade appearances. I explain it all below.
Where and when can you meet Stitch?
The Stitch meet and greet takes place in Disneyland Park, at a location that varies with the season. Several spots have hosted it over the years, which is why I’d rather point you to the app than give you a location that will change. The idea stays the same: a meet and greet spot where you wait a little, then it’s your turn for the photo and the hug.

Do you need to book to see Stitch?
It depends on how things are run at the time. Some meet and greets are open access, and you simply queue on the spot. Others require you to book a time slot in the app. This has already changed from one year to the next. The habit to get into as soon as you arrive: open the app, look up Stitch and see whether you need to book or can just turn up.
Is it free?
Yes. The meet and greet is included in your park ticket, so you pay nothing extra for a photo taken on your phone or for the hug. Only some official photo services (PhotoPass and its Magic Shots) may cost extra depending on your package, but they’re optional.
What time should you go?
Stitch is very popular, especially with children. Morning slots go quickly and the queue can grow during the day. My tip: aim for the start of the day, as soon as the park opens, and check his times for the day in the app. If time slot booking is in place, grab one as early as possible, as the number of places each day is limited.
Stitch Live! or meeting Stitch: what’s the difference?
This is the question that causes the most confusion. There are three ways to see Stitch in the parks and only one is a real meet and greet. Here’s how to tell them apart.
| How you see him | Photo and hug? | Where? |
|---|---|---|
| The meet and greet | Yes, a close-up photo and a hug | Disneyland Park |
| The Stitch Live! show | No, you chat from a distance via a screen | Disney Adventure World (the second park) |
| Cavalcades and events | No, he goes past you | Along the route, Disneyland Park |

How to see Stitch without queuing
If you just want to see Stitch and have a good time with him without necessarily getting a close-up photo, you have two options. They’re fun, but they’re not meet and greets: no hug and no individual photo.
The Stitch Live! show
Stitch Live! is an interactive show where Stitch, animated live, appears on a big screen and chats with the audience: he jokes, asks questions and reacts to people in the room. It’s very funny, especially for children, but you interact with him from a distance. There’s no hug and no close-up photo, and in fact photos aren’t allowed during the show.
The show is in the second park, Disney Adventure World (formerly Walt Disney Studios Park). It runs in French or English depending on the session. Like any show, it can be paused for maintenance at certain times: check its times for the day in the app before you go.
Stitch also changes outfit with the seasons. At Halloween, he’s waiting for you dressed as a vampire: see the vampire Stitch meet and greet. At Christmas, he becomes Stitch as Santa Claus.
Cavalcades and events
Stitch can also appear in cavalcades, the small parades that go along Main Street U.S.A. It’s a chance to see him waving to the crowd. He can also turn up in certain seasons, including Christmas, sometimes in a festive outfit. Again, seasonal appearances vary from year to year: the app is still your best guide to where and when to see him.
Stitch Days: seeing Stitch in late June
Every year in late June, around 26 June (a nod to Experiment 626), Disneyland Paris devotes a few days to Stitch. It’s the best time to see him in all his forms: cavalcade appearances, waves from the balcony of the Main Street station in the morning and evening, and dedicated entertainment.
You’ll see a lot of him, but these moments are still appearances, with no guaranteed close interaction. As the programme changes every year, check the day’s details in the app.

If the current meet and greet requires booking a time slot in the app, I explain how it works in the virtual queue guide. And if you’d rather get close to characters over a meal, see my guide to character meals (with no guarantee of seeing Stitch).
