At a glance
La Bottega di Geppetto, which means "Geppetto’s workshop" in Italian, is located in Fantasyland, at the exit of the Les Voyages de Pinocchio ride, and it picks up the story right where the ride leaves off.
The decor faithfully recreates Geppetto the woodcarver’s workshop as it looks in the 1940 Disney animated classic: wood is everywhere, from the exposed beams to the carved shelves, surrounded by hanging puppets and figurines. Cuckoo clocks and scenes inspired by the movie line the walls.
You can spot the facade by its colorful tile roof, its carved wooden sign showing Geppetto and Pinocchio, and its old stained-glass lamp. Inside, a stained-glass window picks up the puppet’s silhouette. The building looks like a small nineteenth-century Italian cottage, in keeping with the time and place of Carlo Collodi’s tale.
The selection is aimed mainly at kids: plush toys, cuddly toys, wooden toys, games, books, stationery, pins, and figures, featuring Pinocchio as well as other Disney characters.
A full-size re-creation of Geppetto’s workshop. Set at the exit of Les Voyages de Pinocchio, this shop faithfully reproduces Geppetto’s woodworking shop as it appears in the 1940 Disney animated classic. Exposed beams, carved shelves, and hanging puppets create an immersive setting where handcrafted wooden toys and figures of the famous puppet and Jiminy Cricket take center stage.
What you’ll find
History
Guests have been shopping here since the park’s opening year, 1992. Disneyland in California once had a shop on a similar theme, Geppetto’s Holiday Workshop, which shut its doors in 2009.
Theme & world
Who it’s made for
Pros and cons
The highlights
- Wood everywhere, down to the last detail: sculpted shelving, beams left visible, and puppets dangling from above
- A storefront you’ll recognize by its carved sign and stained-glass lamp
The downsides
- Small sales floor, so the inside can feel cramped when it’s busy
- Fewer products to choose from than in the bigger stores in the park
My verdict
Julie’s tip
Best time to go
Stop by early in the day or in the late morning, right after Les Voyages de Pinocchio, since the shop is the ride’s exit.

Your questions about this shop
01 Where can you buy Disney merchandise at Disneyland Paris?
There are four main places to shop: Disneyland Park (Main Street U.S.A. above all, plus every land), Disney Adventure World, Disney Village (open to everyone, no park ticket required), and, if you book an official Disney hotel, the shop inside your hotel. My dedicated article walks you through the main shops.
02 Is there a way to shop without lugging bags around all day?
Yes. The Shopping Service lets you have your purchases sent to a pickup point, so you can collect them later at the same shop, at another shop on your way out of the park, or even at your Disney hotel’s shop. The service is free in most shops (with a minimum purchase). Just ask the cast member at checkout.
03 What are the shop hours?
Shops inside the parks roughly follow park hours, often opening a little earlier on Main Street U.S.A. and closing a little later after the nighttime show. Disney Village shops have their own hours, usually running later into the evening. You’ll find the exact hours in the Disneyland Paris app.
04 Can you buy Disneyland Paris merchandise online?
There’s no official Disneyland Paris online store. To shop from home, you can use the Disney Store website (formerly shopDisney), which sells official Disney merchandise and sometimes a few items specific to Disneyland Paris. At the resort itself, you buy everything directly in the shops.
