At a glance
La Forêt Secrète par Jean Imbert is the fine dining restaurant of the Disneyland Hotel. The chef, who holds a Michelin star at the Plaza Athénée, built his menu around Disney films: each dish takes its name, its ingredients and even its presentation from a specific story, from Beauty and the Beast to The Little Mermaid and Snow White.
There are three set menus. The three-course Discovery menu offers a starter, a main course and a dessert, with three choices at each stage, at €140 per person excluding drinks. The five-course Tasting menu (two starters, two main courses, one dessert) is €200. The kids’ menu, for ages 3 to 11, follows the same starter, main and dessert format at €70, drinks included.
The restaurant serves dinner only, Wednesday to Sunday, 18:30-21:30. Smart dress is required. The meal isn’t included in half board or full board plans, but your meal vouchers can be deducted from the bill at their cash value.

History
Jean Imbert made his name by winning Top Chef in 2012. He went on to open a restaurant in the US with Pharrell Williams in 2018, took over from Alain Ducasse in the kitchens of the Plaza Athénée in 2021, earned a Michelin star the following year, then took charge of the Dior restaurant in Paris, created the menu for the Orient Express and took over the kitchens of the Hotel Martinez in Cannes in 2023. This isn’t his first collaboration with Disneyland Paris: back in 2018, he was already running the Petit Jean experience at the Founder’s Club of the Disneyland Hotel.

My verdict
I haven’t tried La Forêt Secrète par Jean Imbert yet. I’d rather tell you than serve you a review I don’t have: at €140 a menu, you deserve better than a second-hand impression. Here you’ll find the practical information, checked (menus, prices, booking, access). My verdict will follow the day I’ve had dinner there.
