At a glance
The Aparthotel Adagio Marne-la-Vallée Val d’Europe is an Adagio aparthotel with 244 apartments and studios. It’s 3 km (2 miles) from Disneyland Paris and 40 minutes from central Paris, with accommodation ranging from a studio for 4 people to a 3-room apartment for 9 people, a format designed for families, groups of friends and longer stays.
The look is understated and urban, in the practical style typical of Adagio aparthotels. Every unit has an equipped kitchen (dishwasher, fridge, electric hobs, microwave and Lavazza coffee machine), a bathroom, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, a telephone and a safe. Six apartments for wheelchair users, sleeping up to 5 people, are available.
Its main difference is the aparthotel format: every unit lets you cook on site and spread the cost of a Disneyland Paris trip, which makes it an interesting alternative to standard hotel rooms. The free shuttle bus runs morning and evening all year round. A rare bonus in the Disney hotel area: pets are welcome in all Adagio aparthotels.
As for services, a breakfast buffet is served every morning, along with a free-access relaxation area (snack and drinks shop, a library of books, games and accessories to borrow), a laundry room, a private car park and a heated indoor pool. Reception is open 24/7. Good to know: breakfast is free for children under 16 on any new booking, provided an adult breakfast is paid for.
Equipped studios and apartments. The accommodation offers the comfort of an apartment with a full kitchen area, including hobs, a dishwasher and a microwave. Right next to La Vallée Village, the designer outlet, the location is ideal for shopping. You can get to Marne-la-Vallée station on the free shuttle bus.

Who it’s for
Pros and cons
Strong points
- Aparthotel with an equipped kitchen
- Flexible units, from a studio for 3/4 people to a 3-room apartment for 9 people
- Free shuttle bus to Disneyland Paris
Weak points
- 3 km (2 miles) from the parks, so you have to use the shuttle
- Aparthotel format with no restaurant or bar on site
- Several items depend on availability (cots, hairdryers, kettles to ask for at reception)
My verdict
The Aparthotel Adagio is an urban, practical place to stay, especially good for spreading the cost of a trip thanks to its flexible apartments with proper kitchen areas. Being right next to the shops in Serris adds to its down-to-earth appeal.
I haven’t stayed there or tried it myself. My view is based only on the hotel’s website, feedback from people I know, online reviews and a visit to the hotel lobby. The online description highlights practical apartments sleeping up to 9 people and a heated indoor pool. Guests confirm that you can stay with your pet, although the distance means you’ll be using the free shuttle bus a lot.
I recommend it for long stays, large families or travellers who want to cut food costs by cooking for themselves. Not a good fit if you’re after the atmosphere of a traditional hotel with room service and lively bars.

Your questions about this hotel
01 Which Disney hotel should you choose with kids?
For a stay with kids, I recommend the Hotel Cheyenne: a very immersive Wild West atmosphere (saloon, Western streets, ponies) at an affordable price, and little ones love it. The Newport Bay Club is also an excellent choice thanks to its large pool with children’s areas. The Sequoia Lodge appeals to families who like a Disney-style forest atmosphere. Avoid the Davy Crockett Ranch if you don’t have a car, as getting to the parks from there is more of a hassle.
02 What’s the difference between an official Disney hotel and a partner hotel?
An official Disney hotel is run by Disneyland Paris and gives you exclusive perks: Extra Magic Time in the morning before the parks officially open, free delivery of your shop purchases to the hotel and a fully themed setting. A partner hotel (such as Explorers, Adagio or B&B) is a privately run hotel near the resort, usually cheaper, but without Extra Magic Time or Disney theming. For me, staying in a Disney hotel really makes a difference to the immersion, but if your budget is tight, the partner hotels are a decent option.
03 Is it better to stay in a Disney hotel or a partner hotel?
It all depends on your budget and your strategy. Disney hotel: you get Extra Magic Time (access to the parks up to 1 hour before official opening on some headline rides), delivery of your shopping to the hotel, the official shuttle bus and a themed atmosphere. Partner hotel (Explorers, Adagio or B&B, among others): prices are often lower, a free shuttle is usually provided but it isn’t an official Disney one, and breakfast isn’t always included in the price (check when you book). For a first stay, I’d tend to recommend a Disney hotel. To keep the budget down, a partner hotel.
04 Are there shuttle buses between the Disney hotels and the parks?
Yes, free shuttle buses serve most of the official Disney hotels. Some hotels are also within walking distance (Disneyland Hotel, Hotel New York, Newport Bay Club, Sequoia Lodge). The Davy Crockett Ranch has no shuttle: you really need a car (parking at the parks is free for its guests). The timetables are available at hotel reception or in the Disneyland Paris app.
05 Do you need a car to get to Disneyland Paris?
No. The park has excellent transport links: the RER A (Paris suburban train) stops at the entrance, trains run from the airports and the Disney hotels offer free shuttle buses. A car is mainly useful for exploring the region or if you’re staying further away.
