At a glance
Animation Academy is a drawing class led by a Disney artist in Disney Adventure World. During a session of around twenty minutes, you learn step by step to draw a Disney character: the animator draws each stage on a big board and explains the proportions and the lines, while you follow at your own pace on your sheet of paper.
No experience is needed: the class is designed for everyone, from children discovering drawing to adults who fancy having a go. At the end, you leave with your own drawing, a lovely souvenir to take home. The character to draw changes from session to session.
The activity is free, included in your ticket, and takes place under cover, at World Premiere Plaza, at the park entrance. It’s a quiet break, pleasant between two rides or when it’s raining. No booking: turn up at the time shown, subject to places available.
