At a glance

World of Disney is the largest souvenir shop at Disneyland Paris, at the entrance to Disney Village, right next to the Pathé cinema. It’s the French version of the World of Disney chain found in the American parks.

The circular Art Deco building offers 1,400 m² of shop floor arranged around large interior columns. The centrepiece shows Mickey and Minnie in a hot-air balloon, suspended above the shop floor. On the ceiling, painted murals depict the great Disney animated films, and several characters appear drawn as constellations. The overall theme, carried right through to the tills, is a journey through the world of Disney and its parks.

The range covers every category of Disneyland Paris merchandise: plush toys, clothing for adults and kids, accessories, luggage, baby goods, tableware, toys, pin trading and rare pieces, plus the classics (keyrings, magnets, pens, mugs, T-shirts, caps) and even pet products. The ranges change with the seasons: Halloween, Christmas and the year’s other big events.

It’s also the recommended collection point for the shopping service: purchases made in the parks can be sent here free of charge and picked up at the end of the day.

What makes it stand out

At 1,400 m², it’s the biggest souvenir shop at Disneyland Paris, covering every category of merchandise in the resort.

My verdict

Julie
Julie ★★★★½ 200+ visits since 2023

A taste of my childhood, supersized. This shop brings back so many memories, and its decor of Mickey and friends on their travels, with nods to Disney parks all over the world, is my favourite in the Village.

It’s huge and surprisingly quiet during the day. In the evening, as the parks empty, everyone ends up here. If you can, go in the afternoon.

Best time to visit

Go in the morning or mid-afternoon: in the evening, everyone leaving the parks heads here. It’s also the recommended collection point for the Shopping Service.

Your questions about this shop

01 Where can you shop for Disney merchandise at Disneyland Paris?

You have four main options: the shops in Disneyland Park (mainly on Main Street U.S.A. and in each land), the shops in Disney Adventure World, the shops in Disney Village (no park ticket needed) and your hotel shop if you’re staying at an official Disney Hotel. I go through the main shops in my dedicated article.

02 Which shops in Disney Village can you visit without a park ticket?

Yes. Disney Village is free to enter, with no ticket or checks. You’ll find several Disney shops there, including the big World of Disney store, as well as partner brands. It’s the ideal option if you just want to go shopping without paying for park entry.

03 Can you shop without carrying your bags all day?

Yes. The Shopping Service lets you have your purchases sent to a collection point, to pick up later in the shop, or as you leave the park in another shop, or even in the shop at your Disney Hotel. The service is free in most shops (above a minimum spend). Just ask the sales assistant when you pay.

04 What are the shops’ opening hours?

The shops in the parks roughly follow the parks’ opening hours, often opening a little earlier on Main Street U.S.A. and closing a little later after the night-time show. The Disney Village shops have their own opening hours, usually later into the evening. The exact times are in the Disneyland Paris app.

05 Can you order Disneyland Paris merchandise online?

There’s no official Disneyland Paris online shop. To buy from home, you can go to the Disney Store website (formerly shopDisney), which sells official Disney merchandise and sometimes a few Disneyland Paris-specific products. At the resort, you buy directly in the shops.
