At a glance
Captain’s Quarters is the bar at Disney’s Newport Bay Club, at Disneyland Paris. It follows the hotel’s nautical theme and evokes the world of regattas, yachts and great sea voyages.
The decor combines warm wood panelling, model sailing ships in display cases, framed pennants, a portrait of the captain and nautical decorative touches, in a hushed, elegant atmosphere.
The menu offers signature cocktails inspired by a captain’s ports of call, classic cocktails, alcohol-free cocktails, a hot cocktail, plus a selection of draught and bottled beers, wines, champagnes and spirits. For food, cold sandwiches, a seafood sharing board, a Veggie Bowl, a salad and desserts are served until 22:30, and a "Captain’s Deal" combines a sandwich and a drink. Cast Members (Disney staff) serve at the table and the bar stays open late in the evening.
A wood-panelled lounge full of racing yachts. This elegant bar at Disney Newport Bay Club features superb dark wood panelling and many models of racing ships. You settle into large, comfortable leather armchairs to enjoy creative cocktails or fine spirits. The calm atmosphere is perfect for a quiet chat in the evening after a day in the parks.

History
Opened in 1998, Captain’s Quarters was added a few years after Disney’s Newport Bay Club first opened (in 1992) to give the hotel more places to unwind.
It’s the only large indoor bar in the hotel. It was fitted out in a strongly nautical space that recalls the inside of a luxury yacht, with mahogany panelling, regatta trophies and antique compasses.

My verdict
Captain’s Quarters is a nautical lounge bar at Disney’s Newport Bay Club, inspired by regattas and yachts. Its strong point is the wood-panelled maritime decor and its late opening in the evening.
I haven’t tried this restaurant yet. My verdict is based on my research and on what I’ve heard from people I know and from Disney fans. Opened in 1998, it serves signature cocktails, snacks and sandwiches for around €14, in a cosy nautical atmosphere. Feedback mentions a pleasant setting but one not well suited to young children, and a location quite far from the park. It’s a stop for hotel guests at the end of the day.
Recommended for a late drink in a maritime atmosphere. Less suited to families with young children or to a proper dinner.

Your questions about this restaurant
01 Where can you eat cheaply in the Disneyland Paris parks?
To keep costs down, go for the quick-service counters rated €. Casey’s Corner serves hot dogs on Main Street, Café Hyperion does burgers and nuggets in Discoveryland, Colonel Hathi’s Outpost Restaurant serves pizza slices in Adventureland, and Cowboy Cookout Barbecue in Frontierland is still a good deal. Over at Disney Adventure World, Stark Factory and Super Diner remain affordable. Tip: Mobile Order (Click & Collect) in the app also lets you order at some counters without having to queue. And if you’re a bit peckish, a snack (waffle, churros, ice cream) for €5 to €10 does the job nicely.
02 Are there kids’ menus in the Disney restaurants?
Yes, almost all Disneyland Paris restaurants offer a child price (ages 3-11). In the all-you-can-eat buffets, children pay around half price: Agrabah Café at €25, Cape Cod at €25, La Cantina at €20. Classic table-service restaurants also have a children’s set menu with a suitable starter, main course and dessert. At the quick-service counters, you’ll find kids’ set meals with a drink and a dessert included. You can ask for a high chair when you book, using the "special request" field.
03 Are there vegetarian and vegan options in the Disneyland Paris restaurants?
Yes, more and more Disneyland Paris restaurants offer vegetarian and vegan options. The Lucky Nugget Saloon in Frontierland serves a full vegan set menu, and Toad Hall Restaurant in Fantasyland has really nice breaded plant-based crispy bites. Most other table-service restaurants and buffets have at least one vegetarian dish on the menu. Simpler buffets such as Agrabah Café or Cape Cod also offer meat-free alternatives. To check the details, download my free file by email with all the Disneyland Paris restaurant menus: that way you can spot the veggie options before your visit.
04 Where can you get an afternoon snack or a quick bite in the parks?
The parks are full of kiosks and snack stands for when you’re a bit peckish. For something sweet, there’s Cookie Kitchen on Main Street U.S.A., March Hare Refreshments in Fantasyland, waffle and churros stands just about everywhere, and roaming popcorn and ice cream sellers. For something savoury, the hot dogs at Casey’s Corner. Allow €5 to €10 per snack. Little tip: some stands sell reusable collectible popcorn buckets that make lovely souvenirs and give you refills at a reduced price all day.
05 What is Disneyland Paris half board and who can get it?
Disneyland Paris half board is a prepaid meal plan that includes the buffet breakfast at your Disney hotel plus one or more meals at a participating restaurant. It is only for guests staying at an official Disney hotel: you can’t buy it if you are visiting for the day. There are actually four plans: Standard, Plus, Extra Plus and Premium, each with a different range of restaurants and a different price. Extra Plus is in fact full board (two meals a day) rather than just half board. The main benefit: you budget for food in advance and enjoy your stay with no surprises when the bill arrives. For arrivals from 1 April 2027, Disney is replacing these four plans with Essentiel, Extra, Signature and Royal. I explain what changes in my guide to meal plans.
