Can you pay for a Disneyland Paris holiday in instalments?
Yes, but on one condition: the holiday must include a hotel and tickets and be booked on the official website disneylandparis.com. This is what Disneyland Paris calls a package (a single booking that combines the hotel and park entry).
In that case, you don’t pay everything at once. You pay a small deposit to start with, then settle the rest bit by bit. The deposit is the first amount you pay to secure your booking. The balance is everything left to pay after that.
The service is free of charge. Spreading the cost doesn’t cost you anything extra: you pay the same price as if you paid in one go.
How the deposit and balance work, step by step
Book and choose to pay in instalments
Book your hotel + ticket package on disneylandparis.com and, when you get to payment, choose the option to pay in instalments.
Pay the 15% deposit
Pay the deposit of 15% of the total price. This is what confirms your booking.
Get your confirmation
You receive a confirmation email showing the remaining balance (the amount you still have to pay) and the deadline.
Pay the balance at your own pace
Pay this balance whenever you like, in 1 to 5 instalments, from your online Disney account or by phone with an adviser. You choose how many payments, the amounts and how often.
Pay in full before the deadline
Pay the full amount no later than 10 days before your arrival date via your online Disney account (11 days if you go through an adviser by phone). Once everything is paid, there’s nothing left to pay on site.
How many instalments and how flexible is it?
You set the pace yourself. In total, you can pay in 2 to 6 payments: the 15% deposit to start with, then 1 to 5 instalments for the balance.
The amounts can be the same or different from one instalment to the next. The timing is up to you: you don’t have to pay every month on a fixed date. As long as everything is paid 10 days before you arrive, you can manage it however you like.
A little budgeting tip: nothing stops you paying more than 15% at the start. If you can, pay a bigger deposit. Your later instalments will then be lighter.

Tickets only or a package: the key difference
This is the point that surprises families the most. Paying in instalments only applies to hotel + ticket packages. If you only buy park entry tickets, without a hotel, the official website doesn’t let you spread the cost: you pay in one go.
To buy your tickets, see my step-by-step guide to buying Disneyland Paris tickets and my guide to Disneyland Paris tickets.
| Criterion | Tickets only | Hotel + ticket package |
|---|---|---|
| Paying in instalments | No | Yes |
| Deposit | Not applicable | 15% when you book |
| Number of payments (deposit included) | 1 (single payment) | 2 to 6, your choice |
| Balance to pay before arrival | Not applicable | No later than 10 days before |
| Extra fees | None | None (free of charge) |
When can you use the payment plan?
Paying in instalments works when you book far enough ahead. In practice, the option is only offered if you book more than 10 days before your arrival date. Any later than that, the full cost of the holiday is due straight away: there’s no time left to spread it.
The earlier you book, the more time you have to spread your instalments up to the deadline of 10 days before arrival. To work out when to book and weigh up price against availability, see when to book your Disneyland Paris holiday. And if you’re really going at the last minute, read booking your holiday last minute.
Which payment methods can you use?
You pay the deposit and the instalments by credit or debit card (Visa or Mastercard) or with PayPal.
Depending on your profile and at the point of payment, PayPal may also offer its own way to pay in instalments. PayPal’s terms then apply (amount, eligibility, any fees), separate from the Disneyland Paris payment plan: the offer appears on screen if it’s available to you.
You can also reduce the bill with ANCV holiday vouchers, payment vouchers that some French employers give their staff for leisure and holidays. You first pay the deposit by card or PayPal, then use the holiday vouchers for all or part of the balance.
What if I can’t book early enough? Third-party options
The official payment plan is no longer available if you book 10 days or less before you arrive. But other sellers also offer Disneyland Paris holidays, with their own payment options. These are agencies outside Disney: the terms, fees and limits are their own, and they change often. Always check the details when you book.
| Provider | How it works | Fees |
|---|---|---|
| Disneyland Paris (official website) | 15% deposit, then the balance in 1 to 5 instalments, hotel + ticket package | No fees |
| Carrefour Voyages | Pay in 3 or 4 instalments depending on the offer (sometimes more with their Pass card) | No fees in 3 instalments. Fees in 4 instalments, and interest beyond that |
| Cdiscount Voyages (Floa) | Pay in 4 instalments depending on the offer | Possible fees depending on the offer (check when you book) |

What about the Disneyland Pass: can you pay monthly?
Yes, but it’s a separate scheme that doesn’t apply to holidays. For the Disneyland Pass (the former annual pass), residents of the SEPA area can choose to pay monthly: a first payment, then the rest spread over 11 equal monthly instalments, with no admin fee or extra cost. The total works out at the same price as paying in one go.
It’s all explained in my guide to the Disneyland Pass.
What if I have to cancel after I’ve started paying?
Spreading the cost doesn’t change your cancellation terms: those of your holiday apply. As a general rule, a hotel + ticket package can be cancelled free of charge until a few days before you arrive (not counting any extra insurance you took out). In that case, what you’ve already paid (deposit included) is refunded, and the money goes back into your account within a few working days, depending on your bank.
Be careful: if you cancel after the free cancellation deadline, fees may apply and the deposit isn’t always refunded in full. Before you book, check carefully what is refundable and within what time frame. It’s all covered in my guide to cancelling your Disneyland Paris holiday.

Frequently asked questions
01 Are there fees for paying in instalments?
Not on the official website. It’s fee-free: spreading the payment costs you nothing extra and you pay the same price as in one go. Third-party options (Carrefour Voyages, Cdiscount) have their own terms and sometimes charge fees.
02 Can you pay for tickets on their own in instalments?
No. The official website doesn’t offer instalments for park tickets bought without a hotel. Paying in instalments is only available for hotel and ticket packages.
03 Can you pay with ANCV holiday vouchers or PayPal?
Yes. ANCV holiday vouchers (a French scheme) can pay all or part of the balance, after a deposit paid by card or PayPal. PayPal is accepted and, depending on your profile, may offer payment in instalments on its own terms, separate from Disney’s.
04 Can you pay for your holiday in instalments and how much is the deposit?
Yes, for a hotel + ticket package booked on disneylandparis.com: you pay a 15% deposit when you book, then the balance in several interest-free instalments, no later than 10 days before arrival (11 days by phone). Spreading the payment is possible as soon as you book more than 10 days before your stay. If you cancel during the free cancellation period, your deposit is refunded.
