Can you cancel a Disneyland Paris holiday?

Yes, you can cancel your holiday. And in most cases, it’s even free of charge.

Disneyland Paris usually offers flexible conditions. With these, you can cancel or change your booking for free up to 7 days before you arrive. After that, the standard conditions (with fees) take over.

It all comes down to two things: the type of conditions on your booking and where you booked. I’ll explain it all, simply.

Flexible or standard conditions: what’s the difference?

Here’s the scale depending on when you cancel. With a flexible booking, cancellation is free up to 7 days before arrival. After that, the standard scale applies. With standard conditions, fees apply before arrival and go up as the date gets closer.

It all depends on where you booked

This is the point many people forget and it changes everything. Your cancellation conditions depend on the seller you booked with.

You booked direct with Disneyland Paris. This is the most flexible option. You generally get the flexible conditions (free cancellation up to 7 days before) and the perks that come with them: paying in instalments at no extra cost, the best price guarantee and no booking fees. It’s the option I recommend whenever you can, and I put it in the context of the whole process in my guide to planning your trip.

You booked through a travel agent, a tour operator, a private sale or a third-party site (such as Booking). In that case, their conditions apply, not those of Disneyland Paris. They’re often less flexible, sometimes non-refundable. Read their terms of sale carefully. And you’ll need to go through that seller to cancel.

How to cancel your holiday

If you booked direct with Disneyland Paris, you cancel through the Customer Relations Centre: it can’t be done on the website. You have several options:

  • By phone call the number shown on your booking confirmation.
  • By post to the Customer Relations address, shown on your confirmation and on the official website.
  • Using the contact form in the Contact section of the official website, giving your booking number.

If you booked through a travel agent, a tour operator or a third-party site, you must go through that seller to cancel, never through Disneyland Paris directly.

To cancel: booked direct, call Disneyland Paris, usually free up to 7 days before. Via an agency or other site, ask the seller, never Disneyland Paris

Good to know before you cancel

  • Only the person who made the booking can ask to cancel it (or the person the booking was transferred to).
  • You’ll receive written confirmation of your cancellation. If it contains a mistake, or if you don’t receive it within a few days, let Disneyland Paris or your travel agent know quickly.
  • Consider changing rather than cancelling. If your dates or your hotel change, an amendment often costs less than a cancellation. With flexible conditions, it’s even free up to 7 days before.

Frequently asked questions

01 Can you cancel a Disneyland Paris holiday free of charge?

Yes, in most cases. With flexible conditions (the most common), you can cancel free of charge up to 7 days before you arrive. After that, the standard cancellation scale with fees applies.

02 How many days before can you cancel for free?

With flexible conditions, up to 7 days before your arrival date. For example, for an arrival on the 8th, you can cancel free of charge until midnight on the 1st. These deadlines may change, so check your confirmation.

03 How do cancellation fees work depending on timing?

Here’s how it works: with a flexible booking it’s free as long as you’re more than 7 days from arrival. After that, the fees go up as the date gets closer, until the stay is often non-refundable in the very last few days. The exact amounts depend on your offer and are shown on your confirmation.

You have to go through that seller, not Disneyland Paris. Their terms apply, which are often less flexible, sometimes non-refundable. Read their terms and conditions.
