Disney princes don’t have an official line like the princesses do. They’re grouped together through the heroine of their film. Here’s the complete list, how it’s put together and where you might spot them at Disneyland Paris.
These are the Disney princes named most often, in the order they first appeared on screen. For their female counterparts, see the Disney Princesses.
Is there a Disney Princes line?
No. Disney has only ever created one official line of this kind: Disney Princess, which brings its heroines together and showcases them. There’s no male equivalent.
The princes are recognised only because they’re linked to the film of a princess from that line. That’s why the phrase "Disney princes" gets used without any fixed official list.
The list of Disney princes
Ten princes come up most often, each linked to a princess film. Here they are in the order they first appeared on screen (some names, like Florian or Henri (Cinderella’s "Prince Charming"), only really caught on after the films).
| Prince | Film | Year |
|---|---|---|
| Prince Florian | Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs | 1937 |
| Prince Henry (Prince Charming) | Cinderella | 1950 |
| Prince Phillip | Sleeping Beauty | 1959 |
| Prince Eric | The Little Mermaid | 1989 |
| Prince Adam | Beauty and the Beast | 1991 |
| Aladdin | Aladdin | 1992 |
| John Smith | Pocahontas | 1995 |
| Li Shang | Mulan | 1998 |
| Prince Naveen | The Princess and the Frog | 2009 |
| Eugene Fitzherbert (Flynn Rider) | Tangled | 2010 |

How are the Disney princes chosen?
There’s no official process. Unlike the princesses, no prince is ever "crowned" by Disney. Recognition simply comes from being linked to the film of a princess from the line.
That’s why lists can vary slightly from one source to another, and why some names (like Prince Adam) caught on mostly outside the film itself. In practice the rule is simple: a man makes the list if he’s the partner of a princess from the Disney Princess line.
That’s why Li Shang (Mulan’s love interest) is on it, while Kristoff isn’t: despite their royal status, Elsa and Anna belong to the separate Frozen franchise.
Can you meet the princes at Disneyland Paris?
Yes, but far less often than the princesses. The princes don’t have a regular meet and greet spot at Disneyland Paris: whether they appear depends on the programme and on certain events. To find out if one of them is around on the day of your visit, the most reliable way is to check the day’s programme in the Disneyland Paris app.

Here are a few I’ve come across over my visits, in the same order as the list above.
