At a glance

Deco by Disney is the home decor shop in Disney Village, designed for adult Disney fans (the "Disney Adults") and lovers of beautiful pieces.

The layout is bright and clean: wooden displays and a relaxed decor showroom arrangement, designed to help you picture the items in a home rather than on a theme park shelf.

The range covers tableware, household linen, lighting, mirrors, photo frames, collectable figurines, as well as Disney books and comics, plus seasonal decorations (Christmas, Halloween, Valentine’s Day, summer).

The Art on Demand service prints reproductions of Disney artwork on demand with a choice of frames, alongside limited-edition items and reproductions by Disney artists such as Eric Robison. The worlds featured range from Mickey and Minnie to the Disney Princesses, the Villains (Disney’s baddies), Stitch, Mulan, Encanto, Tarzan, Beauty and the Beast and Phantom Manor.

My verdict

Heaven for adult Disney fans, and I’m definitely one of them. At last a shop designed around home decor: tableware, lighting, collectable figurines… far from the usual souvenir aisles.

The Art on Demand service is the icing on the cake for me: leaving with a Disney artwork reproduction printed and framed on demand makes all the difference when decorating your home. Look out for the Phantom Manor pieces, my favourite series.

Your questions about this shop

01 Where can you shop for Disney merchandise at Disneyland Paris?

You have four main options: the shops in Disneyland Park (mainly on Main Street U.S.A. and in each land), the shops in Disney Adventure World, the shops in Disney Village (no park ticket needed) and your hotel shop if you’re staying at an official Disney Hotel. I go through the main shops in my dedicated article.

02 Which shops in Disney Village can you visit without a park ticket?

Yes. Disney Village is free to enter, with no ticket or checks. You’ll find several Disney shops there, including the big World of Disney store, as well as partner brands. It’s the ideal option if you just want to go shopping without paying for park entry.

03 Can you shop without carrying your bags all day?

Yes. The Shopping Service lets you have your purchases sent to a collection point, to pick up later in the shop, or as you leave the park in another shop, or even in the shop at your Disney Hotel. The service is free in most shops (above a minimum spend). Just ask the sales assistant when you pay.

04 What are the shops’ opening hours?

The shops in the parks roughly follow the parks’ opening hours, often opening a little earlier on Main Street U.S.A. and closing a little later after the night-time show. The Disney Village shops have their own opening hours, usually later into the evening. The exact times are in the Disneyland Paris app.

05 Can you order Disneyland Paris merchandise online?

There’s no official Disneyland Paris online shop. To buy from home, you can go to the Disney Store website (formerly shopDisney), which sells official Disney merchandise and sometimes a few Disneyland Paris-specific products. At the resort, you buy directly in the shops.
