Is there (still) a paid Halloween party at Disneyland Paris?
Looking for a separate Halloween party?
When you type "Disneyland Halloween party", you often picture a separate night-time event, with its own ticket and entertainment saved for the evening. It’s a fair expectation: this event really did exist for years, under the name Disney Halloween Party. Other parks still offer this kind of paid evening, by the way: the nearest, Parc Astérix, opens its "Peur sur le Parc" late nights every autumn.
But at Disneyland Paris, I have to be frank: this paid format no longer exists today.
I spend the Halloween season at the park every autumn and I see this question come up again every September. Rather than leave you searching, I’d rather answer clearly: here’s what has gone, what is now included in your ticket and the one day that really makes a difference, 31 October.
The idea isn’t to put you off, but to spare you a disappointment when you arrive and to show you what the evening still has to offer.
What the former Halloween party was (until 2022)
The former Halloween evening, officially the Disney Halloween Party, was a paid event with a separate ticket, held on one or two dates at the end of the season. The park reopened in the evening, from around 20:00 to 2:00 in the morning, and that late opening was the whole point of the format.
In practice, the event offered things you couldn’t find during the day: headline rides open very late (such as Phantom Manor, Big Thunder Mountain or Pirates of the Caribbean), themed areas brought to life by dancers and actors, plus rare character meets seldom seen the rest of the year, such as Jack and Sally or Oogie Boogie.
Dressing up was already allowed for everyone on those nights. As for the price, for the record, the 2019 edition cost around €69 to €79 per person, with discounts for annual pass holders.
One thing not to mix up: Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party still exists, but it’s a paid evening at the American Disney parks, with no link to Disneyland Paris. When I talk here about the end of this evening, I mean the French version. The event was launched many years ago, though I can’t pin down an exact launch date.
Why and when did the paid party disappear?
The last paid edition of this Halloween evening event took place in 2022, over two evenings (29 and 31 October), with rides open until 2:00. The format was officially scrapped in 2023: since that year, there has been no separate-ticket Halloween party.
Instead, Disneyland Paris built extended hours straight into the standard admission ticket, at no extra cost.
In other words, the party hasn’t "disappeared" in the sense that nothing happens in the evening any more. What was removed is the separate ticket and its exclusive entertainment, in favour of a season included in standard admission. If you’ve read "since 2023" somewhere about the end of this party, that’s correct.
What you’ll find today (included in your ticket)
Today, there’s no extra paid evening event on top of the day. Everything that makes up the Halloween season is included in your standard admission ticket, from morning until closing.
In practice, the season includes the park decorations (pumpkins, skeletons, ghouls), the "Mickey’s Halloween Celebration" parade, which passes twice a day (see the Halloween parade), and Halloween projections on the facades of Main Street U.S.A. (since 2025) at nightfall, on a limited number of dates. You’ll also meet characters in costume, such as Goofy as a skeleton or Chip ’n’ Dale as ghosts, as well as Disney Villains: Cruella, Jafar, the Queen of Hearts, Maleficent or Captain Hook (see the Halloween villains).
On the food side, seasonal menus appear, such as the Unlucky Nuggets at the Saloon or the Phantom Manor eclairs at Last Chance Café, on top of seasonal products in the shops. In 2025, the Disneyland Hotel even put up Halloween decorations for the first time since it reopened.

31 October, the only real exception
If one date deserves the "Halloween party" label, it’s 31 October. It’s the only day when the experience really changes compared with the rest of the season.
First, opening hours are extended: in 2026, both parks stay open until 23:00, so you can enjoy the evening atmosphere for much longer.
Next, costumes are allowed for everyone that day, adults included, whereas for the rest of the season they’re reserved for children (the exact rules are in my guide to dressing up for Halloween). It’s also one of the most sought-after days of the year: expect a peak in crowds, and plan ahead with the crowd guide.
Finally, the ticket. For 31 October, you book a dated admission ticket for that day, the most expensive of the season, whether for 1 park or 2 parks. Don’t misread it: this isn’t an "evening" supplement, it’s simply the price of a dated ticket for a very popular date. The undated ticket (Billet Liberté in French) can’t be used on 31 October. To choose the right ticket, see the ticket guide.

Is it worth coming in the evening? My verdict
Frequently asked questions
01 Can you dress up for Halloween at Disneyland Paris?
During the season, costumes are for children under 12 only, who can come dressed up throughout the season. On 31 October, everyone can dress up, adults included. The exact rules (no masks, face uncovered) are set out in my guide to dressing up for Halloween.
02 Do you need a special ticket or pay more for 31 October?
There’s no "evening" ticket: you book 31 October with a dated ticket for that day. It’s the most expensive of the season, for 1 park as well as for 2 parks. The prices for the day are in my ticket guide. Opening hours are extended (9:00-23:00 in 2026) and everyone can dress up. It’s also a peak day for crowds.
03 Is there still a paid Halloween party at Disneyland Paris?
No. The former Disney Halloween Party, with its separate ticket, held its last edition in 2022 and was dropped in 2023. Today the whole Halloween season is included in the standard admission ticket, and there’s no sign of it coming back.
04 Do you need a special ticket or pay extra to enjoy a season (Halloween, Christmas)?
No. The seasons and their entertainment (decorations, parades, shows, meet and greets) are included in the standard admission ticket, with no extra paid evening event. Two dates are the exception: 31 October and 31 December. On those days, you need a dated ticket for that day, among the most expensive of the year. Only the usual services remain optional, like Premier Access (a paid fast track) or the premium viewing area for the parade. That said, tickets are often more expensive during high-demand periods like Halloween, Christmas and the French school holidays.
