At a glance

Victoria’s Home-Style Restaurant is a table-service spot on Main Street U.S.A., in Disneyland Park. The idea comes from English cottages and Victorian homes, with a stylised sign showing a house between two lanterns.

The interior recalls a cottage sitting room from the late nineteenth century: floral wallpaper, colourful stained glass in the doors and windows, carved wooden dressers, an old organ, period lamps, oval mirrors, red curtains, framed pictures and portraits on the walls, and wooden tables and chairs with floral cushions.

The offer focuses on sweet breaks: seasonal pastries, decorated waffles (including a Mickey-shaped one), teas, herbal teas, infused waters and hot drinks.

What makes it stand out

An intimate Victorian tea room. This spot offers table service in the setting of a flowery English cottage from the late nineteenth century. The menu features stacked mini cakes, elaborate Mickey waffles and creative milkshakes. The hushed atmosphere of these small connecting rooms is ideal for a quiet break.

History

Opened on 12 April 1992, Victoria’s Home-Style Restaurant is set in a typical Victorian family boarding house. It originally ran as a large American-style fast food cafeteria.

Over the decades, the interior has not been rebuilt, but the way it runs has changed dramatically. It was turned into a tea room and pastry bar with table service, dropping the original counter system.

My verdict

Victoria’s Home-Style Restaurant is a table-service tea room on Main Street U.S.A., in a Victorian cottage, devoted to sweet breaks. Its strong point is afternoon tea served at your table in an intimate atmosphere, something rare in the park.

It’s one of my favourites at Disneyland Paris, where I love coming for afternoon tea, and the table service really makes the difference. The Mickey waffle is a great classic, at around €5, and the seasonal specials are often very good in this spot, open since 1992. The choice is still mostly sweet, it gets busy at teatime and some items are sometimes unavailable. The hushed atmosphere of the tea room is a real plus.

I recommend it for a relaxed, refined afternoon tea with the family. Less suited if you want a full savoury meal or quick service.

Your questions about this restaurant

01 Where can you eat cheaply in the Disneyland Paris parks?

To keep costs down, go for the quick-service counters rated €. Casey’s Corner serves hot dogs on Main Street, Café Hyperion does burgers and nuggets in Discoveryland, Colonel Hathi’s Outpost Restaurant serves pizza slices in Adventureland, and Cowboy Cookout Barbecue in Frontierland is still a good deal. Over at Disney Adventure World, Stark Factory and Super Diner remain affordable. Tip: Mobile Order (Click & Collect) in the app also lets you order at some counters without having to queue. And if you’re a bit peckish, a snack (waffle, churros, ice cream) for €5 to €10 does the job nicely.

02 Are there kids’ menus in the Disney restaurants?

Yes, almost all Disneyland Paris restaurants offer a child price (ages 3-11). In the all-you-can-eat buffets, children pay around half price: Agrabah Café at €25, Cape Cod at €25, La Cantina at €20. Classic table-service restaurants also have a children’s set menu with a suitable starter, main course and dessert. At the quick-service counters, you’ll find kids’ set meals with a drink and a dessert included. You can ask for a high chair when you book, using the "special request" field.

03 Are there vegetarian and vegan options in the Disneyland Paris restaurants?

Yes, more and more Disneyland Paris restaurants offer vegetarian and vegan options. The Lucky Nugget Saloon in Frontierland serves a full vegan set menu, and Toad Hall Restaurant in Fantasyland has really nice breaded plant-based crispy bites. Most other table-service restaurants and buffets have at least one vegetarian dish on the menu. Simpler buffets such as Agrabah Café or Cape Cod also offer meat-free alternatives. To check the details, download my free file by email with all the Disneyland Paris restaurant menus: that way you can spot the veggie options before your visit.

04 Where can you get an afternoon snack or a quick bite in the parks?

The parks are full of kiosks and snack stands for when you’re a bit peckish. For something sweet, there’s Cookie Kitchen on Main Street U.S.A., March Hare Refreshments in Fantasyland, waffle and churros stands just about everywhere, and roaming popcorn and ice cream sellers. For something savoury, the hot dogs at Casey’s Corner. Allow €5 to €10 per snack. Little tip: some stands sell reusable collectible popcorn buckets that make lovely souvenirs and give you refills at a reduced price all day.

05 How much does a meal cost at Disneyland Paris?

Prices vary a lot depending on the type of restaurant. As a rough guide (prices change), allow around €15 to €25 per adult at a quick-service counter (€), €30 to €50 at a classic table-service restaurant (€€), and €60 and over at the premium buffets or signature restaurants (€€€ and €€€€). To give you some concrete benchmarks: the Agrabah Café buffet is €45 per adult / €25 per child, Cape Cod €45 / €25, La Cantina €35 / €20. Character dining set menus such as Auberge de Cendrillon go up to €60-95 per adult. For snacks (ice cream, waffle, churros), allow €5 to €10. These ranges are approximate, and you can check the exact price on each restaurant’s menu.
