At a glance

Vapiano is an Italian restaurant from the international chain of the same name, located in the outer part of Disney Village, near the Gaumont cinema and Five Guys.

The decor combines large picture windows, an open kitchen, wooden furniture, an olive tree in the middle of the room, a green wall and pots of herbs (basil, rosemary) on the tables. The restaurant is spread over two floors served by a glass lift. Upstairs there’s a children’s play corner and a baby changing table in the toilets.

The menu is wide, with vegan and vegetarian options, and allergens are shown on the menu.

Good to know: Vapiano is getting a makeover. An interior renovation is planned by early 2027 to modernise the decor, as part of the Disney Village transformation. The restaurant stays open during the construction work, which is being done in phases.

What makes it stand out

Fresh pasta made in front of you. This Italian restaurant in Disney Village is built around open kitchen counters where the cooks make your pasta dishes and hot pizzas to order. The large, bright dining room has an olive tree in the middle and big wooden tables. The magnetic payment card system makes paying separately easy.

History

Opened on 22 December 2016 in Disney Village, Vapiano added an Italian option run by an outside partner.

The restaurant didn’t replace an older dining venue. It moved into the former NEX arcade, under the cinema, leading the way in the area’s development and marking the first major new build in the entertainment village since Earl of Sandwich opened in 2011.

My verdict

Julie
Julie ★★★½☆ 200+ visits since 2023

Vapiano is a concept Italian restaurant in Disney Village, with fresh pasta and pizzas made in front of you. Its strengths are the open kitchen and the children’s play corner upstairs.

I’ve eaten there on my many visits and my verdict matches other visitors’: the fresh pasta and pizzas do the job well, for around €15, in this branch that opened in 2016. Watching your food being made is fun. On the other hand, the concept means several separate queues, one per counter, there’s no table service and the downstairs room isn’t well suited to children. The upstairs floor with its play corner is a help for families.

I recommend it for a relaxed Italian meal, especially upstairs with the family. Less suited if you want classic table service or an unhurried meal.

The Vapiano restaurant is part of Disney Village but sits away from the main street: on the other side, next to the Indigo car park, before the security check.

Your questions about this restaurant

01 Where can you eat cheaply in the Disneyland Paris parks?

To keep costs down, go for the quick-service counters rated €. Casey’s Corner serves hot dogs on Main Street, Café Hyperion does burgers and nuggets in Discoveryland, Colonel Hathi’s Outpost Restaurant serves pizza slices in Adventureland, and Cowboy Cookout Barbecue in Frontierland is still a good deal. Over at Disney Adventure World, Stark Factory and Super Diner remain affordable. Tip: Mobile Order (Click & Collect) in the app also lets you order at some counters without having to queue. And if you’re a bit peckish, a snack (waffle, churros, ice cream) for €5 to €10 does the job nicely.

02 Are there kids’ menus in the Disney restaurants?

Yes, almost all Disneyland Paris restaurants offer a child price (ages 3-11). In the all-you-can-eat buffets, children pay around half price: Agrabah Café at €25, Cape Cod at €25, La Cantina at €20. Classic table-service restaurants also have a children’s set menu with a suitable starter, main course and dessert. At the quick-service counters, you’ll find kids’ set meals with a drink and a dessert included. You can ask for a high chair when you book, using the "special request" field.

03 Are there vegetarian and vegan options in the Disneyland Paris restaurants?

Yes, more and more Disneyland Paris restaurants offer vegetarian and vegan options. The Lucky Nugget Saloon in Frontierland serves a full vegan set menu, and Toad Hall Restaurant in Fantasyland has really nice breaded plant-based crispy bites. Most other table-service restaurants and buffets have at least one vegetarian dish on the menu. Simpler buffets such as Agrabah Café or Cape Cod also offer meat-free alternatives. To check the details, download my free file by email with all the Disneyland Paris restaurant menus: that way you can spot the veggie options before your visit.

04 Which Disney Village restaurants can you eat at without a park ticket?

Disney Village is free to enter, so you don’t need a park ticket to eat there. You’ll find around fifteen restaurants. For table service: Rosalie and Petite Rosalie (French brasserie), The Steakhouse (Chicago-style grilled meats) and The Royal Pub (British food). For a lively meal: Billy Bob’s Country Western Saloon and La Grange at Billy Bob’s (Tex-Mex buffets). Sports Bar for a relaxed vibe and Rainforest Café for its themed jungle setting. For quick service: McDonald’s, Earl of Sandwich, Five Guys, Starbucks Coffee and Vapiano round off the choice. Two places aren’t available at the moment. Annette’s Diner has been closed for refurbishment since January 2026 (reopening expected around 2027). The Italian restaurant Casa Giulia, on the site of the former Planet Hollywood, will open in late 2026. Book ahead for Rosalie and The Steakhouse, especially in the evening.

05 How much does a meal cost at Disneyland Paris?

Prices vary a lot depending on the type of restaurant. As a rough guide (prices change), allow around €15 to €25 per adult at a quick-service counter (€), €30 to €50 at a classic table-service restaurant (€€), and €60 and over at the premium buffets or signature restaurants (€€€ and €€€€). To give you some concrete benchmarks: the Agrabah Café buffet is €45 per adult / €25 per child, Cape Cod €45 / €25, La Cantina €35 / €20. Character dining set menus such as Auberge de Cendrillon go up to €60-95 per adult. For snacks (ice cream, waffle, churros), allow €5 to €10. These ranges are approximate, and you can check the exact price on each restaurant’s menu.
