At a glance

Casey’s Corner is a counter-service restaurant on Main Street U.S.A., in Disneyland Park. The theme draws on the golden age of American baseball, with nods to New York imagery from the early twentieth century.

The outside follows the style of a North American Victorian shopfront: an ornate front, red and white striped awnings, a "Famous Hot Dogs" window and an illuminated C-shaped Coca-Cola sign. The inside is smaller, with striped walls, Tiffany-style lamps in Casey’s colours, old advertising posters, sports photos, etched stained glass and locker-room style cubbies. A large outdoor terrace extends the room, with round tables and chairs facing the castle.

Service is at the counter, with a menu centred on several versions of hot dogs, which you can have with chips and drinks. Click & Collect is available in the Disneyland Paris app.

What makes it stand out

Premium hot dogs facing the castle. This famous quick-service restaurant celebrates early twentieth-century American baseball. Serving only giant hot dogs and chips, the counter offers mobile ordering with Click & Collect. Its outdoor terrace has a direct view of Sleeping Beauty Castle.

History

Opened on 12 April 1992 on the prime corner of Main Street U.S.A. and Central Plaza, Casey’s Corner pays tribute to a classic American poem about baseball and to the 1946 animated film.

The 1890s baseball theme and the ragtime pianist outside have been there since the park’s very first day, with no historic changes to the front of the building or the concept.

My verdict

Casey’s Corner is a hot dog counter on Main Street U.S.A., themed on American baseball, with a terrace overlooking the castle. Its strong point is precisely that terrace facing the castle, perfect for lunch with a view.

I’ve eaten here several times and the hot dogs are good, for around €10, but I wish there were a hot dog, chips and drink set meal, so the bill quickly adds up. It’s also a shame you can’t customise your hot dog, especially if you have an allergy. The indoor seating area at this spot, open since 1992, is small, the menu is built around hot dogs and the queue gets longer at peak times. The Click & Collect service and the terrace make up for it a little.

I recommend it for a quick lunch with a view of the castle. Less suited if you have dietary requirements or want a full set meal.

Your questions about this restaurant

01 Where can you eat cheaply in the Disneyland Paris parks?

To keep costs down, go for the quick-service counters rated €. Casey’s Corner serves hot dogs on Main Street, Café Hyperion does burgers and nuggets in Discoveryland, Colonel Hathi’s Outpost Restaurant serves pizza slices in Adventureland, and Cowboy Cookout Barbecue in Frontierland is still a good deal. Over at Disney Adventure World, Stark Factory and Super Diner remain affordable. Tip: Mobile Order (Click & Collect) in the app also lets you order at some counters without having to queue. And if you’re a bit peckish, a snack (waffle, churros, ice cream) for €5 to €10 does the job nicely.

02 Are there kids’ menus in the Disney restaurants?

Yes, almost all Disneyland Paris restaurants offer a child price (ages 3-11). In the all-you-can-eat buffets, children pay around half price: Agrabah Café at €25, Cape Cod at €25, La Cantina at €20. Classic table-service restaurants also have a children’s set menu with a suitable starter, main course and dessert. At the quick-service counters, you’ll find kids’ set meals with a drink and a dessert included. You can ask for a high chair when you book, using the "special request" field.

03 Are there vegetarian and vegan options in the Disneyland Paris restaurants?

Yes, more and more Disneyland Paris restaurants offer vegetarian and vegan options. The Lucky Nugget Saloon in Frontierland serves a full vegan set menu, and Toad Hall Restaurant in Fantasyland has really nice breaded plant-based crispy bites. Most other table-service restaurants and buffets have at least one vegetarian dish on the menu. Simpler buffets such as Agrabah Café or Cape Cod also offer meat-free alternatives. To check the details, download my free file by email with all the Disneyland Paris restaurant menus: that way you can spot the veggie options before your visit.

04 Where can you get an afternoon snack or a quick bite in the parks?

The parks are full of kiosks and snack stands for when you’re a bit peckish. For something sweet, there’s Cookie Kitchen on Main Street U.S.A., March Hare Refreshments in Fantasyland, waffle and churros stands just about everywhere, and roaming popcorn and ice cream sellers. For something savoury, the hot dogs at Casey’s Corner. Allow €5 to €10 per snack. Little tip: some stands sell reusable collectible popcorn buckets that make lovely souvenirs and give you refills at a reduced price all day.

05 How does Mobile Order (Click & Collect) work for Disney restaurants, and which ones take part?

Mobile Order (Click & Collect) lets you pre-order your meal in the official Disneyland Paris mobile app and pick it up at the time you choose, without queuing. Log in to the app, choose the restaurant and the time slot, select your dishes, pay online (the annual pass code can be applied) and get your voucher by email. The 8 participating restaurants are: Au Chalet de la Marionnette (Fantasyland), Café Hyperion (Discoveryland), Casa de Coco (Frontierland), Casey’s Corner (Main Street), Cowboy Cookout Barbecue (Frontierland), Hakuna Matata (Adventureland), Last Chance Cafe (Frontierland) and The Hollywood Gardens Restaurant (World Premiere at Disney Adventure World). The service is free, but orders are for the same day only.
