At a glance

Rosalie is a French brasserie in Disney Village, opposite the PanoraMagique balloon and on the shore of Lake Disney, replacing the former Café Mickey. The restaurant spreads over two floors along the promenade and seats 348, with two outdoor terraces.

The decor takes its cue from Parisian brasseries: emerald green banquettes, marble tables, globe pendant lights, large windows, green plants and L’Écailler, a seafood counter covered in green tiles.

The menu is traditional French. It offers oysters and seafood platters, classic starters, meat, fish, mature cheeses and traditional desserts. A lunch set menu, a kids’ menu and vegetarian and vegan options are available.

The restaurant is open from morning to evening, with table service inside. Booking is recommended. Chèques Vacances and Tickets Restaurants are accepted and the Disneyland Pass discount applies.

What makes it stand out

A seafood counter on the lake. This large table-service restaurant has the look of a modern Parisian brasserie on the lakeside at Disney Village. The menu features fresh oysters, snails and French classics. The big picture windows and the outdoor terrace look straight out over the lake.

History

Opened on 8 December 2023, Brasserie Rosalie stands on the site of the former Café Mickey, a family character restaurant open from 2002 and closed in 2020 during the Disney Village overhaul.

The building was completely rebuilt with a new contemporary frontage and large glass walls overlooking Lake Disney. The brasserie is run by Groupe Bertrand (the parent company of Hippopotamus) as part of a partnership with Disneyland Paris.

My verdict

Julie
Julie ★★★★½ 200+ visits since 2023

Brasserie Rosalie is a traditional French brasserie at Disney Village, with terraces on Lake Disney. Its big draw is classic brasserie food served from morning to evening, which is rare near the parks.

It’s one of my favourites at Disneyland Paris. For a French person it’s a classic brasserie, but it’s really good for a leisure resort. Allow around €40 per adult and €17 per child in this 348-cover restaurant, opened at the end of 2023, with a homemade cordon bleu as its speciality. Good to know: it isn’t a Disney restaurant but one run by Groupe Bertrand (the parent company of Hippopotamus). So the decor has no Disney theming and the terrace is only open in season.

I recommend it for a proper brasserie meal with a view of the lake. Less suitable if you want a themed Disney experience.

Your questions about this restaurant

01 How do you book a table at a Disneyland Paris restaurant?

You have four ways to book. The easiest is the official Disneyland Paris app ("Dining" section), from your Disney account. You can also call the booking line on +33 (0)1 60 30 40 50, use the official website via the Dining menu or book on site at City Hall, Studio Services or your Disney hotel’s concierge desk. Before you choose, I suggest downloading my free file by email, which brings together all the menus of the Disneyland Paris restaurants. It really helps you make up your mind.

02 How far in advance can you book a restaurant at Disneyland Paris?

It depends on how you’re visiting. If you’re staying in a Disney hotel, you can book up to 1 year ahead, as soon as your stay is confirmed: a real advantage for the most popular restaurants like the Auberge de Cendrillon or the character buffets. If you’re coming for the day, without a Disney hotel, you can book up to 2 months (60 days) ahead. You can book in the Disneyland Paris app, on the official website or by phone on +33 (0)1 60 30 40 50. My advice: book as soon as the window opens for character restaurants and for evenings at weekends or during French school holidays, otherwise the slots disappear fast.

03 Can you still get a table on the day without booking?

Yes, it’s possible but not guaranteed. Some restaurants run a "walk-in queue" depending on the tables freed up during the day. Go to the restaurant’s reception desk and ask if there’s any room left. The mobile app also shows slots that open up in real time (last-minute cancellations), and I check it regularly when I’m after a last-minute table. Otherwise, fall back on the quick-service counters and snack stands, which never need a booking. Tip: eating lunch at an off-peak time (before 12:00 or after 14:00) greatly improves your chances of finding a table without booking.

04 How do I cancel a Disneyland Paris restaurant booking?

You can cancel easily in the official Disneyland Paris mobile app. Go to "Account > My table reservations", select the booking and confirm the cancellation. You can also cancel by phone on +33 (0)1 60 30 40 50. Remember to cancel as soon as you know you won’t make it: it frees up a table for other visitors and is a nice thing to do. Important: you can’t change the time or the number of diners directly in the app. If you need to change it, you have two options: cancel and make a new booking (if slots are still available), or call the reservations centre on +33 (0)1 60 30 40 50.

05 Which Disney Village restaurants can you eat at without a park ticket?

Disney Village is free to enter, so you don’t need a park ticket to eat there. You’ll find around fifteen restaurants. For table service: Rosalie and Petite Rosalie (French brasserie), The Steakhouse (Chicago-style grilled meats) and The Royal Pub (British food). For a lively meal: Billy Bob’s Country Western Saloon and La Grange at Billy Bob’s (Tex-Mex buffets). Sports Bar for a relaxed vibe and Rainforest Café for its themed jungle setting. For quick service: McDonald’s, Earl of Sandwich, Five Guys, Starbucks Coffee and Vapiano round off the choice. Two places aren’t available at the moment. Annette’s Diner has been closed for refurbishment since January 2026 (reopening expected around 2027). The Italian restaurant Casa Giulia, on the site of the former Planet Hollywood, will open in late 2026. Book ahead for Rosalie and The Steakhouse, especially in the evening.
