In the parks, a paid service lets you have your face painted as a Disney character. It’s open to everyone from age 3, kids and adults alike, with no booking. Prices start at €15 for a design on the arm.
Below you’ll find where to go, the full prices and how it works on the day.
What are the face painting stands?
It’s an extra, paid service offered in the parks. A make-up artist paints you with one of a selection of Disney looks: princess, pirate or the character of the moment. Some designs change with the season or events (a film release, a special period). This service is different from Mon Rêve Royal, the full makeover offered at the hotel (see below).
You have two options:
- Face painting on the face: the full design, the most eye-catching.
- Face painting on the arm: more discreet and cheaper, handy for kids who don’t like having their face covered.
Either way, you choose your design from a menu of options. The make-up artist then adapts it to the person being painted.
Where can you get your face painted in the parks?
There are two main stands (one per park), a stand in the new World of Frozen land, plus stands that open depending on the season.
| Park | Location |
|---|---|
| Disneyland Park | Behind the castle, near the Confiserie des 3 Fées |
| Disney Adventure World (formerly Walt Disney Studios Park) | At the entrance to World Premiere (formerly Studio 1) |
| Disney Adventure World | In the new World of Frozen land (Frozen) |
| Seasonal stands | Depending on events and the time of year (location varies, check on the day) |

Face painting prices in the parks
No need to book or make an appointment. Here’s how it works:
- Go to the shop next to the stand.
- Choose your design from the menu and pay.
- You’ll be given a ticket.
- Show the ticket at the stand: the make-up artist does the painting.
Who can have their face painted?
The service is open to everyone from age 3, with no upper age limit. Kids and adults can both enjoy it. Nothing stops you from having your face painted at the same time as your children.
Why get your child’s face painted?
It’s a simple little treat that makes the day memorable. I especially recommend it if your child loves dressing up. Don’t worry: the make-up artists are used to children, it’s quick and painless and the result always looks great in photos.
- To complete a costume already worn during the visit.
- As a treat that doesn’t cost much.
- To keep a lovely photo souvenir.
- Because it’s quick and there’s no booking: you can go whenever you like.
Not to be confused with Mon Rêve Royal
