Yes, Disneyland Paris really does have sales twice a year (winter and summer). The resort is a French business like any other, so it follows the two official sale periods, on dates set each year by the French government. You can find discounts of up to 50%, sometimes 70% on certain items, mainly in the shops in the parks and at Disney Village.
On the other hand, don’t expect sales on restaurants or park tickets: they aren’t included.

When are the sales at Disneyland Paris?
There are two sale periods a year, exactly as in the rest of mainland France. Disneyland Paris is in Seine-et-Marne, so it follows the national calendar.
The winter sales start in early January and the summer sales in late June. Each period lasts about four weeks. I’d rather not give you precise dates here: they change every year and are set by the French government. To give you an idea, here’s the official rule used to work them out.
| Period | Start | Length |
|---|---|---|
| Winter sales | 2nd Wednesday of January (brought forward to the 1st if it falls after the 12th) | about 4 weeks |
| Summer sales | Last Wednesday of June (brought forward to the second-to-last if it falls after the 28th) | about 4 weeks |
The sales start on the official day set by the French government. On site, the discounts apply as soon as the shops open. To find the exact dates for this year, 2026, the easiest way is to check the official dates published by the French government.
What discounts, and on what?
Discounts can reach 50% and sometimes 70% on certain items towards the end of the period. Generally, the first markdowns are more modest at the start, then the reductions grow week by week. The best deals in percentage terms are often at the end of the sales, but the choice is more limited by then.
The sales mainly cover merchandise in the shops: clothing and textiles, soft toys, mugs, accessories and end-of-line seasonal collections. These discounts apply in the shops of both parks and in those at Disney Village. Not every shop necessarily takes part and not every item is included: reduced products are marked directly in store.
Sales or promotions: don’t mix them up
It’s a common mix-up. Disneyland Paris offers several kinds of discounts during the year, but only one of them is actually a sale.
| Type | When | On what |
|---|---|---|
| Sales | 2 times a year (winter and summer), official dates | Merchandise in the shops (parks and Disney Village) |
| One-off promotions | All year round, depending on the campaign | Certain items or collections in the shops |
| Ticket deals | At various times (e.g. the Tribu ticket offer, mostly in summer) | Park tickets for groups of 4 to 6 people |
One-off promotions are discounts the resort chooses to apply to certain products, at any time of year. They aren’t sales in the legal sense.
Ticket deals, such as the Tribu ticket offer for groups of 4 to 6 people, are a per-person discount on admission, mostly offered in summer. They’re worth a look when planning your trip, but they have nothing to do with the sales in the shops.
How to make the most of the sales
- Head to the shops during the sale period: reduced items are clearly marked, often grouped in a dedicated area or flagged with labels.
- For the shops inside the parks, you need a valid park ticket.
- Check in store which items are really reduced: not everything is included, so it’s better to look at the label than to assume.
- Go round several shops: the reduced items aren’t the same from one to the next, and a piece can be marked down in one shop and not in another.

Shopping the sales at Disney Village without a ticket
Disney Village is free to enter, no park ticket needed. Its shops, including the huge World of Disney store, let you pick up sale items without paying for park admission. It’s the easiest place to shop the sales if you’re not planning to go into the parks.
The annual pass discount during the sales
If you have an annual pass, check in the shop whether your discount applies to sale items. Good news: at Disneyland Paris, the annual pass discount generally applies on top of the sale price, and the conditions depend on your pass level (the details for each level are in the Disneyland Pass guide). The safest bet is to ask at the till before you buy.

Frequently asked questions
01 Does Disneyland Paris have sales?
Yes. Disneyland Paris is a French business and follows the two official sales periods, one in winter and one in summer, as everywhere in France.
02 When are the sales at Disneyland Paris?
Twice a year: the winter sales start in early January (the second Wednesday of the month) and the summer sales at the end of June (the last Wednesday of the month). Each period lasts about four weeks.
03 Do I need a park ticket to go to Disney Village?
No. Disney Village is free to enter and open to everyone, with no park ticket or Disney hotel stay needed. You can have dinner, go shopping (including the big World of Disney store), go to Starbucks or the cinema. The only formality, if you’re not coming straight from a park, is the security check at the entrance to the Village. Merchandise exclusive to a land or a season, though, is found in the shops inside the parks, which require a ticket.
