At a glance
The Royal Pub is a British-inspired pub restaurant in Disney Village, on the site of the former King Ludwig’s Castle. It’s run as a concession by Groupe Bertrand, which also operates Rainforest Café, Rosalie in Disney Village and the Au Bureau chain.
The decor follows the codes of an English pub: two rooms joined into a single space, high seats, furniture suited to small groups and more modern background music. The restaurant has around 350 seats (180 of them on the mezzanine) and an outdoor terrace. It’s table service, non-stop from 11:30 to 23:00, and you can’t book.
Happy Hour runs every day from 17:30 to 19:00.
A British pub atmosphere. This Disney Village venue serves a selection of imported draught beers and specialities from the UK. You settle into a modern setting with leather banquettes and order traditional fish and chips or hot meat pies. It’s a friendly place to round off the evening.

History
Opened on 17 February 2023 as part of the Disney Village makeover, The Royal Pub stands on the site of the former King Ludwig’s Castle, a Bavarian restaurant that ran from 29 May 2003 to January 2023.
The building was redecorated in the style of a traditional English pub, with dark wood panelling, copper beer taps and Scottish flags. The menu switched from German food to British classics (fish and chips, savoury pies, breakfasts).

My verdict
The Royal Pub is a British-style pub and restaurant in Disney Village, opened in 2023, with a long list of draught beers and non-stop table service. Its strengths: food at any time of day and a daily Happy Hour.
I tried it on a Saturday night without a reservation and got a table in under 10 minutes. It feels like a real pub, quite relaxed, with well-spaced tables (much more so than at Rosalie next door). The room is air-conditioned in summer and a terrace opens when the weather is nice. I really liked the chips, which are very good. I recommend the sharing board, as well as the Mac and Cheese or the Original Burger. I didn’t try the desserts.
Allow around €22 per adult and €17 per child. I recommend it for a drink or a pub dish at any time, in a calm setting. Less suited if you’re after Disney immersion or low prices.

Your questions about this restaurant
01 Where can you eat cheaply in the Disneyland Paris parks?
To keep costs down, go for the quick-service counters rated €. Casey’s Corner serves hot dogs on Main Street, Café Hyperion does burgers and nuggets in Discoveryland, Colonel Hathi’s Outpost Restaurant serves pizza slices in Adventureland, and Cowboy Cookout Barbecue in Frontierland is still a good deal. Over at Disney Adventure World, Stark Factory and Super Diner remain affordable. Tip: Mobile Order (Click & Collect) in the app also lets you order at some counters without having to queue. And if you’re a bit peckish, a snack (waffle, churros, ice cream) for €5 to €10 does the job nicely.
02 Are there kids’ menus in the Disney restaurants?
Yes, almost all Disneyland Paris restaurants offer a child price (ages 3-11). In the all-you-can-eat buffets, children pay around half price: Agrabah Café at €25, Cape Cod at €25, La Cantina at €20. Classic table-service restaurants also have a children’s set menu with a suitable starter, main course and dessert. At the quick-service counters, you’ll find kids’ set meals with a drink and a dessert included. You can ask for a high chair when you book, using the "special request" field.
03 Are there vegetarian and vegan options in the Disneyland Paris restaurants?
Yes, more and more Disneyland Paris restaurants offer vegetarian and vegan options. The Lucky Nugget Saloon in Frontierland serves a full vegan set menu, and Toad Hall Restaurant in Fantasyland has really nice breaded plant-based crispy bites. Most other table-service restaurants and buffets have at least one vegetarian dish on the menu. Simpler buffets such as Agrabah Café or Cape Cod also offer meat-free alternatives. To check the details, download my free file by email with all the Disneyland Paris restaurant menus: that way you can spot the veggie options before your visit.
04 Which Disney Village restaurants can you eat at without a park ticket?
Disney Village is free to enter, so you don’t need a park ticket to eat there. You’ll find around fifteen restaurants. For table service: Rosalie and Petite Rosalie (French brasserie), The Steakhouse (Chicago-style grilled meats) and The Royal Pub (British food). For a lively meal: Billy Bob’s Country Western Saloon and La Grange at Billy Bob’s (Tex-Mex buffets). Sports Bar for a relaxed vibe and Rainforest Café for its themed jungle setting. For quick service: McDonald’s, Earl of Sandwich, Five Guys, Starbucks Coffee and Vapiano round off the choice. Two places aren’t available at the moment. Annette’s Diner has been closed for refurbishment since January 2026 (reopening expected around 2027). The Italian restaurant Casa Giulia, on the site of the former Planet Hollywood, will open in late 2026. Book ahead for Rosalie and The Steakhouse, especially in the evening.
05 How much does a meal cost at Disneyland Paris?
Prices vary a lot depending on the type of restaurant. As a rough guide (prices change), allow around €15 to €25 per adult at a quick-service counter (€), €30 to €50 at a classic table-service restaurant (€€), and €60 and over at the premium buffets or signature restaurants (€€€ and €€€€). To give you some concrete benchmarks: the Agrabah Café buffet is €45 per adult / €25 per child, Cape Cod €45 / €25, La Cantina €35 / €20. Character dining set menus such as Auberge de Cendrillon go up to €60-95 per adult. For snacks (ice cream, waffle, churros), allow €5 to €10. These ranges are approximate, and you can check the exact price on each restaurant’s menu.
