At a glance
Adventure Way is one of the lands of Disney Adventure World (formerly Walt Disney Studios) in Disneyland Paris. Just past World Premiere Plaza, at the centre of the park, it links the entrance area to the immersive worlds, including World of Frozen and the future Pride Lands.
The land takes the form of a leafy promenade with a central walkway leading to Adventure Bay, a 3-hectare lake (70,000 m³) that forms the heart of the park. The landscaping includes 1,000 trees and 100,000 shrubs, spread across several smaller spaces: the Gazebo Garden, an English-style garden with statues of Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh and Pongo with his puppies, which hosts the return of the Disney Music Festival, and the Toy Story Garden, a path linking Adventure Way to Toy Story Playland (Worlds of Pixar).
Adventure Way has two rides. Raiponce Tangled Spin is a family teacup-style ride based on Tangled: you board spinning gondolas beneath scenery inspired by the floating lanterns scene. The second, Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings, based on Up and designed as a swing ride, is due in 2027 opposite Raiponce Tangled Spin. It will take you into the world of the Wilderness Explorers, Russell’s band of adventurers.
For food, The Regal View Restaurant and Lounge offers table service with a panoramic view of Adventure Bay and a meal with Disney Princesses, alongside cafés and kiosks along the promenade. Shops along the way sell Disney and Pixar souvenirs.
Adventure Bay lake is the setting for the night-time water show Disney Cascade of Lights, which combines projections on the water, fountains and drones, and brings in characters from the Disney, Pixar and Marvel worlds (Moana, Mulan, Carl and Russell from Up, the Avengers). Character meet and greets (including Mickey) and live music add life to the promenade.
The land plays out as an adventure trail linking several Disney worlds. You follow in the footsteps of Rapunzel and Flynn Rider on their quest for adventure, and the walkway leads naturally to the kingdom of Arendelle (World of Frozen) and the Pixar world (Worlds of Pixar).
The common thread is travel and escape: Adventure Way works as a story-led transition between the big lands of Disney Adventure World.
The new 2026 land at Disney Adventure World, devoted to Tangled. Raiponce Tangled Spin, themed restaurants and a link between Worlds of Pixar and World of Frozen. The first land in the world devoted entirely to Tangled.

History
Adventure Way is a brand-new land, created as part of the Disney Adventure World rebrand and opened on 29 March 2026. It is the first land in the world devoted entirely to Tangled and Up.
It is part of the park expansion plan announced in 2018 (Avengers Campus, a Frozen land and a Star Wars land). In 2024, the Star Wars area was replaced by a Lion King project, and Adventure Way and Adventure Bay were both confirmed as areas in their own right at the D23 Expo. Construction had begun in 2022. Designed by Walt Disney Imagineering, the land opened with Raiponce Tangled Spin, while the second ride (Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings, based on Up) is expected in 2027.
Where the inspiration comes from
A completely original land created for Disneyland Paris in 2026. It is the first land in the world devoted entirely to Tangled and Up, with nothing like it in the other Disney parks.

Who it’s for
Pros and cons
Strong points
- A practical link between the Adventure Bay lake (3 hectares, 70,000 m³) and the centre of the park
- Lush landscaping with 1,000 trees and 100,000 shrubs
- Disney Cascade of Lights, a night-time water show combining projections and drones
- The Regal View Restaurant, where you can meet Disney Princesses during your meal
Weak points
- Only one ride when the land opened
- Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings delayed until 2027
- Designed mainly as a walkway between the other lands
My verdict
Adventure Way is a really well-designed promenade. It’s a bit light on rides, I admit, but that’s more than made up for by its many food stands. The park was badly short of them, and it makes all the difference.
What I like most is the potential of the space, with room for entertainment and concerts through the seasons, bringing the land to life all year round.
And then there’s the view over Adventure Bay lake, with a perfect line of sight to enjoy the night-time show in 360°.

Your questions about this land
01 What are the lands of Disney Adventure World (formerly Walt Disney Studios Park) after the transformation?
Disney Adventure World, which replaces the former Walt Disney Studios Park, is now organised into 6 lands. World Premiere Plaza (2 attractions) is home to Tower of Terror, Les Tapis Volants - Flying Carpets Over Agrabah and the World Premiere hub. Avengers Campus (2 attractions) brings together Avengers Assemble: Flight Force and Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure. Worlds of Pixar (7 attractions) groups Crush’s Coaster, Ratatouille, RC Racer, Cars Quatre Roues Rallye, Cars ROAD TRIP, Slinky Dog Zigzag Spin and Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop. World of Frozen (only one ride for now), which opened on 29 March 2026, is home to Frozen Ever After. Adventure Way (1 attraction) has Raiponce Tangled Spin.
02 What are the top rides at Disney Adventure World?
At Disney Adventure World, I have my favourite rides. Tower of Terror, at 63 metres, is the tallest ride in the whole of Disneyland Paris and guarantees big thrills. Avengers Assemble: Flight Force is still the fastest ride in the resort. Crush’s Coaster is a cult favourite but has the longest queues. Ratatouille is an immersive ride you shouldn’t miss. Frozen Ever After, in the new World of Frozen land that opened on 29 March 2026, is the big new ride you really must try. Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure completes the list of highlights at Avengers Campus.
03 How can you avoid long queues for the most popular rides?
To avoid long queues at Disneyland Paris, I combine several tactics. First, Single Rider is free and really speeds things up on the rides that offer it, including Crush’s Coaster, Flight Force, Ratatouille and Spider-Man, as long as you’re happy not to ride with your group. Next, Disney Premier Access is a paid service that gives you priority access to the headline rides. If you’re staying in a Disney hotel, Extra Magic Time lets you into the park before official opening, and it’s the best time to ride the popular attractions back to back without queuing. Finally, heading to the most popular rides during a parade or a big show empties the queues considerably.
