What are Pop-Up Surprises?
Pop-Up Surprises are meet and greets with one or more rare or never-before-seen Disney characters, ones you won’t come across in the park during the day. An edition can feature a rare character, a costume never seen before, or both at once. There’s no PhotoPass photographer on site, so you take your own photos with your phone or camera.
It’s free, but only for Disneyland Pass members and by booking only. To understand the perks included in the pass, you can read my complete guide to the Disneyland Pass.

How to book a Pop-Up
You book online on the official pass platform: pass-annuel.disneylandparis.com. You don’t need to give the names of the people coming with you: they just have to be pass members themselves and be there with you on the day. Here are the four steps to follow.
Have an active Disneyland Pass
Your pass must be valid when you book and on the day itself. If you’re bringing companions, they (up to 3 of them) must also be Disneyland Pass members.
Watch for bookings to open
Each edition is announced first on Disneyland Paris’s social media, then by email to members. Places are limited and go quickly, especially at the weekend: book as soon as bookings open.
Book your time slot online
Go to the official platform pass-annuel.disneylandparis.com, then choose your date and time slot. Slots are offered in quarter-hour steps, usually from 10:00 to 16:45. Each pass gets 1 booking, plus up to 3 companions who are pass members.
On the day, turn up at your time slot
Arrive at the time of your slot with your annual pass and your confirmation email. Don’t forget your park entry booking either: here’s how to book your dates.

Where do Pop-Up Surprises take place?
Pop-Up Surprises take place at the Disneyland Pass Corner, the name Disney gave to the former Annual Passport office. It’s in Disneyland Park, between Discoveryland and Fantasyland, opposite Le Théâtre du Château.
On the day, turn up at your slot time with your pass and your confirmation email to hand.
Upcoming Pop-Up Surprises
No Pop-Up Surprise is scheduled at the moment. Disney announces them from time to time, with no fixed calendar. So you don’t miss out, keep an eye on Disneyland Paris’s social media and then on your pass member emails.
